the smell

okay....i know to get rid of smell carbon filters and all that....but i was wondering if there is a way u can make something that works well....prolly not as good as carbon filter but works fine. like ive heard but a ton of holes in a bucket and fill it w/ charcoal and have the fan blowing on it and the plants....i dont remember where i read this but i wouldnt mind trying it....anybody have any proof that this works? any other things i could do instead of this? (im kinda broke haha)

If you hae the $$ to do the bucket o' carbon thing, you have enough to build a rudimentary carbon filter! :)

yeah you can build a carbon filter that you would buy at a grow shop, for cheap.. prob less than 25 bucks... i'm going to be making one this weekend, maybe i'll post a thread w/ steps..
search the web though, there are a bunch of great sites that give you idea's on how to build one..
but from what i have read, to stop the most odor molecules from leaving your grow area, is activated carbon..
all your really trying to do is build something that can hold the activated carbon ( which can be bought at any pet store that sells fish products ), and pull air from grow room through...
very simple idea...
anyways , search the net..
