And I would say that it is a fact. Marijuana does cause one to become hungry.

Omg yeah i get the munchies. I've been making late night trips to burger king and taco bell at 4am for the last 3 years. Actually right now i'm eating pizza flavored gold fish mmmmmmm. Great now i'll have to go to the gym tommorow..crap.

haha, actually that's weird because me and my step-brother used to always laugh our asses off at that. It would always come on late at night, and we would be high as hell and it would always come on. For some reason, someone's head getting biten off is funny.

Goldfish have feelings too though. But I bet being the tastiest fish in the sea..err snack isle...has its benefits.

U ever see the goldfish commercials were they sing that jingle? I found it kinda disturbing b/c one of the lines is "there fun until you bite their heads off"......thats not very nice...poor goldfish.
the part that always got me was "the snack that smiles back". Great... just what I always wanted...

usually it does but sometimes it doesn't it's weird.

i can get high as can be.... and not get hungry at all

but most of the time it does...

i'll be with like 5 friend in the mcdonalds drive through at 3 am laughing my ass off ordering 5 ice creams 20 double cheesebuggers and 18 sugar cookies hahah

Fact, The reason that cannabis gives you munchis is because
of Endocannabinoids, which are the chemicals in the brain that
seem to control appetite and actually make food more apealing.
These are chemicals already in your anatomy but cannabis increases
these upon smoking or ingesting marijuana. There is actually a study
on how to block these chemicals because they are more prevalent
in obese people, there is a drug out called Rimonabant which blocks the Endocannabinoids. They are using this as a weight loss drug in some countries
now.

I feel that everyone is being too harsh on the poster for asking this question. IMO, this is a debatable topic. When I smoke, I don't necessarilly get more hungry, it's just that when I eat food, it tastes a lot better than normal....

Yeah fact well at least according to medical science if you believe it. But i always want the food i dont have, like i'll go to the store when i know im gonna get high as fuck soon and buy everything that seems like its gonna taste bomb when im high and i frown on other things but when i get high i ALWAYS want what i dont get.

it's actually becuase u eat food so fast that it doesnt reach ur stomache, or digest like it's supposed to and eventually when u do get full it's usually a stomache ache becuase all the food hits ur stomache at the same time and it sux...for me anywayz that happenes sometimes

I've noticed that on my FIRST smoking session of the night (or day) I get really high and a little sick to my stomache and I dont have the munchies at all. But then after my Second smoking session I get crazy munchies.:twocents:
