View Full Version : Random Seed Mixes - are they worth the money?

I was thinking of getting an indoor seed mix from Dr. C, but I've never ordered seeds before. What can I expect from these random mixes compared to getting just 10 seeds of the same strain?

I saw that Sensi has 40 seeds for 35eu, but the other companies don't have the # of seeds listed.

It just depends on what kind of end supply you want. I like a mix of stuff to smoke but with that you have different strains with different needs and can mean more problems.

I would like a variety of different types, but how is the quality of the mixes? Would I be likely to end up with a couple of really good strains or would it mostly be low-end stuff?

To anyone here who has purchased these mixes - what kinds of plants/yields did you get?

I'm also just looking for something to plant in soil both indoors and outside - I don't have a hydro or elaborate indoor setup. Which is why I would like to start with something really good to make up for my simple growing method. The most I would do is give it some fertilizer after a few weeks and not deal with it again until budding time.

I almost forgot - are the seeds in the mixes labeled or is it just a pack of unknown seeds? If any of the seed packs are labeled, which companies package them that way?

the random mixes are usually loose seeds found in the shipping box from the breeders or ones fallen off of the counting table. some real gems can be found in the mixed bags!

Cool - thanks for the info

Maybe I'll pick up a mixed pack and a pack of some killer female seeds :smokin:
