Seriously, after all the research I've done on cannabis and after the amount of true information I have learned, I've come to the conclusion that it may just help me live much longer.
Here's how the story goes: I was three months premature, and had a very low expectancy to even live past the age of 5 (I am now 20). The doctors predicted that if I were to survive my infancy that I would be blind, deaf, mentally/physically retarded, and basically be a vegetable all of my life. (Sometimes I wish those doctors could see me now so I could slap them, lol.) But, as a result from my premature birth, I do have a higher blood pressure than normal due to a constricted (stretched) main vein/artery or something like that in my lower back. The doctors said after I reached a certain age that the vessel would return to normal size. However, since I still have shown signs of higher blood pressure, some of the doctors seem unsure. Well, that is where the miracle of marijuana comes in: to relax and dilate these vessels resulting in a lowered blood pressure.
On top of it all, I am also asthmatic. I'm sure you all know the story to this one; it was also due to my premature birth. I do know that the medication I am taking has quite a few long-term side effects including calcium depletion, putting me at a high risk for early osteoporosis. Cannabis again could potentially save me from these long-term problems.
I have noticed through my experiences with weed that I have indeed become more healthy overall and haven't been on edge so often anymore. I also suffered from a deep depression a little over a year ago that lasted for about 8 months (there was a good reason for it that I really don't feel like discussing lol). Since I started tokin, these depressed feelings have pretty much eliminated themselves, even when I find myself without any bud for days or weeks at a time.
It's this kind of shit that really makes me hate our government and how they run things. My parents seem so stuck up our government's ass on conservative political views that they would never buy anyting I tried to tell them about, even in the event that it could potentially save my life or help me live longer. My mom happens to be a nurse and claims there's always some kind of medication out there to help with these problems without the use of marijuana, yet at the same time she often completely ignores the side-effects of these prescription meds, and continues to put faith in the government-funded propaganda on drugs.
Well, I hope you all enjoyed taking the time to read this.
