Broke... Resorting to Ebay

So I've smoked about $300 worth of weed so far this summer, and the only money I have left is inaccessible(sp). Anyways, I've been selling old video games on ebay and today decided to completely sell my entire video game collection. I am hoping to take in a couple hundred bucks with which I will buy ganja. I really feel like this is happening for a reason: I'm selling video games in order to buy weed, and getting rid of video games will improve my overall quality of life a lot.

I have learned so much from being a pothead that I refuse to sell my goodies
because when you do it your passing your foolish self on everyone else as the laugh in your face = when my dealer asked me to sell him my ps 2 I said fuck you & when he offered to buy my pc I said the same. ebay you have to ship the videos costing you xtra ducks whatta fool:rasta: :thumbsup:

Selling/pawning your stuff for a good time is not the way to go...........take it from someone who's been there done that! Hell, get some type of job, cut grass, whatever....but NEVER start selling your crap or you have a bit of a problem.

^^I definitely agree with those guys. Selling stuff just to buy weed probably means you have a problem. And smoking $300 worth just this summer? Maybe what you should do is cut back A LOT, next time you can afford to buy weed. Invest in a one-hitter, and smoke people up less. Give up the habit of continuing to smoke once you're already stoned, unless that ridiculous lifestyle is that important to you. Smoking less can actually be more rewarding when you do smoke.

Although I do agree that giving up video games will improve your quality of life. I found that to be the case, definitely. Giving up TV completely, 4 or 5 years ago, was the best decision I ever made. Then again, going without pot for a long time has been a really good feeling too... so I dunno.

I can't say I've ever been desperate enough to sell the things I actually use in order to have money for bud. I've sold other things for bud money when tight, but most of those items I sold were useless to me anyway (such as jewelry from an ex-gf..best damn weed I ever got was bought with that money :) now I can be thankful for that break-up). I've also went to yard sales and bought good DVD's for like a quarter and sold them back to EB games for more than what I paid. It seems you could make a good profit that way lol.

It sounds like you're replacing video games with smoking weed. Were you one of those kids that spent all their waking time playing video games? Think about it, you've already spent $300 on weed to date and it's only the begining of July, the money you recieve from selling your video games probably won't last you till the end of the month at the rate it seems you're buying bud. So maybe you should cut back on the amount you're smoking, you could also get some sort of part time job so you could have a constant cash flow, that way you won't have to resort to pawning off things you might regret selling later on in life. I'm not saying that you shouldn't sell your video games if you really believe it will be a positive thing for you, but you shouldn't have to start selling shit to smoke; what's next your furniture? That starts coming off as an addiction and could add fuel to the fire of the already negative image the government portrays to the public about marijuana & its users.

Don't become a crack/heroin-addict that pawns their shit for drug money.
Later on you will feel very guilty for doing so.
But you will feel very proud if you buy weed purely out of money you earned yourself from your job.

If you're really that desperate, don't sell your games, just sell shit you really don't want that's just taking up space like dvds or music.
But most of all, you should really get a job.
If you really can't even hold a job, then just work random gigs you can find. Like, a one day work thing.
I did those.. I moved boxes for this couple and it was only an hour and a half of work and I made 40 bucks.

And don't bullshit yourself, you're not selling video games to improve your life, you're selling video games to fix your addiction by getting more weed which is just as bad as playing video games all day.
