Does anyone know if sativas can handle a higher temp. because I am growing bagseed and if I dont have a fan circulating in the bathroom the temp sometimes get to 91 degrees, and the plants seems to not mind. I have 4 that dont care and I think my oldest plant is ph fuked up I think. Not too sure. Can anyone see what could be wrong with this plant.

This 1 is the oldest of my five and is the only 1 that is fuked up. I think it sumkind of nute burn or deffiency. What do you think.

Yeah thanks for the help. I read it tomorrow after my knee surgery. I'll have plenty of time to sit around and read sum helpful guides and facts to enlighten my knowledge about cannabis. Tomorrow I am supposed to receive my PH tester and sum superthrive I ordered.

there are really no differences between the two as far as grow needs but those pics don't look like sativa's...those fat short leaves in the 1st pic tells me it's indica and it's not at all unusual to see different phenotypes coming out of bagseed which would explain the different looks with the plants. and 91 for short periods isn't that bad. my outdoor plants are doing very well in the 100+ heat...they just take more water right now. the main thing is keeping the roots as cool as possible...

and good luck with your surgery! had my left knee replaced years ago from a motorcycle wreck and it's no picnic...

No it sno picinic. I had my surgery monday and on the second day my knee was killing me. Sumthing funny though, I went to physical therapy and it actually made me feel alot better.!! So you think maybe indica? I have my youngest plant and it is short and looks like a total female. I had nute block or something so I had to flush em.

doubtful there is much difference in heat tolerance, at all ... sativas are from Central and South America, and indicas originate in the Middle East, hashish countries ... if anything, hotter temps in Middle East ... as the saying goes "six of one, half-dozen of the other" ... :smokin:

As for the nute burn! Your so right. Do you foliar feed? I grew sativa and they did not like a high room temp at all! I kept it between 79 and 82. I think they all look good! Just keep the foliar mix to a minimum,as far as the strength you mix it.Little splash from watering can do that as well!Your fine !

Its weird, my plants seem to fine if the temp is between 84-87. it was at 89 and they seemd fine. I do not foliar feed. The last pic in my second post of the nute burn plant I have ended his life and a sibling as well. I have three healthy plants just starting flowering today. Any advice? I also topped the 3 2 days ago. I will have to LST the 2 sativas. My Indica is alot better looking now since I flushed and repotted.

I've been told that sativa's can handle more heat and light and stuff then indica.
And it makes sense if you think about where the origin of these strains are.
In accordance with the equator.
