Improving the website

I think that there are many different ways that we could improve this website and attract more people and bring us closer together, my ideas aren't very detailed but tell me what you think of them, and say if you have any of your own.

â?¢ Have the ability to change the colours and backgrounds for the website.

â?¢ Maybe have more ways that people can pay for cafe memberships, maybe online like debit cards or splashcards.

â?¢ Bigger avatars.

â?¢ More games in the arcade (im sure more will be added soon anyway) but maybe more different choices like some multiplayer games so that members can play with each other.

â?¢ More detailed profile for members

â?¢ Better chatroom, As i know not many members go to the chatroom, maybe we could make it more colourful, colourful and more interesting somehow?

â?¢ Different status's for normal members such as premium membership, silver membership, bronze membership, gold membership etc but not based on post count based on how long a each person has been a member or how often they post?

â?¢ Give people the chance to help out with the site by having mod applications, they dont have to be easy so that anybody can join, maybe have certain things that you have to do to apply like post at least 20 times a week, and be a member for at least one year or something.

â?¢ Advertise new tournaments in a sticky in the main cannabis.com lobby, so that more people know about it

â?¢ Give normal members the ability to start their own tournaments

I definitely agree with you on the methods to pay for cafe membership. I honestly sat down and had planned on paying for it several times, but I really don't want to waste an extra 8$ for a money order. How about paypal or something?

And different 'weed' themes for the site isn't a bad idea either.

Yah, I mean it's not like I use money orders all the time. I did it once at my bank and they charged me $8.

But I also hate Wal-Mart b/c it's evil and destroys lives, but that's a whole other story.

Also you should give members who have over a certain amount of posts (e.g. 2000) or have been here a certain amount of time (e.g. 6months) the ability to start their own tournaments but put a limit on it like one a month or something.

Your suggestion of using online payment methods is a good one.

I have wanted to join but will not send payment through the mail..PayPal would be a good one..or even Visa.

i agree with everything stated in the first post maybe for chat we should try more of the AIM approach being able to change the background color of font and the color of the font itself,
and maybe being able to have a little picture of your avatar next to your name on the list where it says people in chat because i know for a lot of people such as myself i remember a lot of people by their avatar and not there username.
