This is my first grow from bagseeds, the 2 plants are under 350 watts of cfl's in miracle grow potting soil and are 35 days from sprouting.
They vegged under 18/6 and i switched it to 12/12 last week
today i just added some fertilizer 15-30-15
They are starting to show preflowers but i'm not to sure of the sexing
yet, any help would be appreciated!
The first picture is of plant 1, two weeks in to veg
then the next 3 are of plant 1, 35 days from sprouting
pictures of plant 2 are in the second post

Very nice your plant looks very healthy. I couldn't see anything that'd tell for sure what sex they are but give it another week and I'm sure you'll be able to tell. Keep up the good work i hope it's a lady!

haha yeah i'm hoping there ladies, i figured it'd probably be another week or so before i knew. So once you find out its a male, you wanna chop it down righta way?
omega, the first plant is from some strain of common middies or beasters, the 2nd plant is from a strain of kush, not sure which one exactly but that could be why theres suchs a difference in smell of the two plants
i'm not sure of the ph, however i use filtered water and let it warm to room temperature, i also added just a little bit of kelp to the water mix, i read somewhere it is suppose to give good nutrients to the plants
thanks for the replies guys

This is both of them from atop then, there both 14 inches tall :rasta: , and some of the bottom fan leaves on both of the plants got chewed off by my dog a few weeks ago, so they would be a little bushier if that weren't the case..

Hey smokey the reason i asked u if u checked ur water ph is because of what tinybud said m8....Miracle grow works fine but the water ph should be around 8.0 (that´s it u read it right 8.0) or else u might nute burn the ladies ...Some nice experienced growers around have tested it and it works that way...otherwise u may get into trouble...anyway that N-P-K formula sounds good...keep us posted..peace and pot

Sorry Omega but thats not correct...8.0 is Waaay to high....your ph Should be around 6.6-6.8...
....and if you have extreme ph you don't actually nute burn them...its quite the opposite...they lack nutrients b/c the plant "locks" up...

SMOKEY put a fan on your plants it will help the stem get a little thicker. lookin at pic #3 you might get top heavy and snap. first support them , then add your fan. lookin good over all

A little update on the plants
this is plant two, which i'm almost positive is the female.
let me know what you think
45 days from sprouting and now in its second week of 12/12
also the last one is a pic of a new seedling which is growing nice and compact

Yap Smokey it looks like a girl, the plants are looking good and the seedling is looking good to, how old is she???
And is that foil i see in ur grow space????if it is dump it m8, thats no good for growing.

Omega, the seedling is now 2 weeks, on its 5th node, growing nice and compact...i grew the seedling strictly under cfls...
i believe i'm going to switch it to 12/12 now
the female plant was originally started on just sunlight until i switched it to cfls...which might be reason for some of the stretching...
foils no good eh??
shit maybe i should get rid of it then
why isn't it good for growing?
oh and i started ph'ing my water after your advice and the plant has seemed to really enjoy it
thanks for your help, appreciate it man
peace and respect

The shiny side of foil can create hot spots. Remember as a kid, taking a magnifying glass outside, and focusing the sunbeam and watching ants spontaneously combust more or less? With aluminum foil you can do the same thing to your plants. It is better to either use flat white paint, or mylar or another film designed for reflection.

Foil is the best way for u to burn some holes in ur plants....it concentrates heat, creates hot spots the result its not good...try to get some flat white paint in ur grow area or mylar as soon as u can, but even if u cant do that right now, get rid of the foil...oh there is another nice solution, most stores sell what is called as Dual layered grow sheet u can consider that, its cheap and very effective...cya dude and keep i t up, its looking good

2 Months since sprouting
