i reacently bought a 04 mustang and its a 3.9 V6(yea v6 sucks)
anyway, i was gonna get a line lock (brake control system) to lock up my front brakes to do burnouts. Now, do you guys think this will work on my car and let me burnout?

and do you know what parts will add horse power, I already have a throttle body, bigger cam, cold ar intake and exhaust and headers

Don't you just do a burnout by holding down the brake FIRST, then slamming the gas? I may be wrong, but I think that's how I was shown how to do one.

What he said..........

your line lock should be your foot falling asleep on the brake pedal......

Make sure you have brakes.... new slot drilled rotors and new pads would be good.

Make sure you do the ignition, and such , Cpu chip.....

Posi rear for sure.......... nothing worse than seeing a muscle car burning out one wheel......

then learn how to drive...IE peel out what ever...... 2 feet not just one.

good luck Cars are Rad

First, do you even have enough power to turn the tires over? If not, a line-lock isn't going to help. If you can't stand on the brakes and the tires turn, then the line-lock is not going to do any good.

Want to add some power? I tossed a NX wet kit on my TA with all of the safety equipment and I love it.

Also, why do you want to do burnouts? Do you actually drag race or are you wanting to impress people?

i agree... fucking take the mustang back, and get all the fucking monney, and go look for the older cars, like mustangs, baricudas, chevlles, novas, gto, anything made between the 60s and 1979 should be good. and first off, befor u upgrade the breaks, find out if u can actualy spin the wheels, its real easy to figure out if you can spin the wheels, the next time you go out for weed, or the store or anything, that your crap bucket, when at a stopsign/light, rev the motor a pop the cluch in first gear(if its auto, put it in a lower gear, and hit the gas.)do this on a dry road for best analysis, if you cant do it on dry paved road, trade it back in for at the minimum a V8 'stang and put in the 4.11 rear end, and add as much preformance parts as possible, headers, exaust, dual 4 barrle carbs, after market fuel pump, fule cell, run the battery back to the trunk... add everything in either the www.summitracing.com catolg, or the www.jegs.com catolg

I have a mustang, without a liscense, well my dads giving it to me.

The true pony car, the Mustang GT, boasted a 5.0 liter V8 engine with 225 horsepower at 4000 rpm and 300 foot pounds of torque at 3000 rpm. Fewer GTs were produced in 1989 because the LX Sport was basically a GT without the exterior appearance package. This interested many buyers so more LX Sport Mustangs were purchased and the GT's production was reduced.

and just recently a new tranny and clutch.

its a real stiff clutch, sucks barefoot

did i say it has 105k freeway miles on it, driven by my dad who took great care of it, were in michigan and its just now starting to rust >.< very little tho
