No lighter

What do you guys do when you have no lighter? I'm too young to buy one and I don't want to use matches.

Well, you could use that or just use matches... Just wait for the phosphorus to burn out, then light it...

wait, are you smoking a bowl or a joint/blunt. if your smoking a joint/blunt, just use the matches, it's 5 seconds of inconvenience. or use the stove. if your smoking a bowl, i could see how you wouldn't wanna use matches, but you'll have to, unless your a str8 ^ badass like i used to be and would steal lighters from the local wal-greens. they have aisles with lighters in them./ but don't do that...

if your to young to buy fire for yourself have someone buy it for you. play a little "hey mister" in front of somewhere that carries like 3 packs of bics.

one thing to try if you are outside in the sun smoking and you dont mind the smoke or smell of it in the air of course...then you can try solar bowls. using a magnifying glass to light a bowl. just like when you used to fry ants on those hot boring afternoons. who thought that talent would come back in use...with weed.

by the way you can also (well you cant you sound like your too young again) check out your local smoke shop for what i think is the ultimate solar bowl. i know my place sells these glass bowls like any, very basic, and it has a little inspector gadget thing that pulls out to the side and a magnifying glass is at top and it set up the burning dot for you. nice stuff...

I use my magnifying glass whenever possible. No one really questions why you have one. Mine is built into my swiss army knife, and works dandy.

Yeah, a mag. glass works. I've used one before, as a last resort. Surely you know someone who can buy you a lighter.

go figure :\ so when i was walkin out i just grabbed a BiC on my way out lol

Once I was incredibily lazy and used my toaster to light stuff. Just pay someone a lil extra to purchase you a lighter when you are at the store.

roll paper towel into a very tightly rolled tube and light it on your stove, you can light your bowl with that.

I always keep a spare around. It was some crappy lighter that I picked up that hurts my fingers. I use it if the main Bic runs out, then i go get another.

To the OP, go to a grocery store and ask someone to get you a five pack.

go to jewel or walmart or something and use self checkout. or just walk up and try to buy one. ayt my local wlagreens there is one guy who will sell you lighter and blunts, but no body else.
so yeah, jst ask. dont act like you know you cant buy it. and if they ask say you are grilling and need it.

for one, if you are too young to buy a lighter, then you probably shouldn't be smoking weed. i remember buying lighters for fireworks when i was like 14.

secondly, in my opinion, there is no substitute for a lighter at least for smoking out of a bowl. anything else is too much of a hassle to be even worth smoking, even matches. i just make the 4 minute drive to the store and get a gatorade and a lighter.

Roll a piece of paper and stick it on a burner until it lights and light your bowl with it. It'll take some time and you probably won't get as high but it's better than not toking up at all. Now days you have to be 18 to buy a light most places. But usually find a dude who seems like he doesn't care and he'll probably check you out just like normal thats what I do.

I use a piece of spaghetti (uncooked of course) light it on the stove or a candle. Or light an empty lighter on a broke lighter.
