Brick Weed

On Monday, I recieved a call from a well known dealer around town, who I've never dealt with before, asking me if I was looking for any, and said he had some really really really good mid-grade that he assured me would be 10x better than what I've been getting from my regular dealer. I was looking, and I couldn't deny that lately my dealer has been giving me the smallest buds from his stash, but it wasn't bad.

Anyway, I had 65 dollars, which bought me 11 grams. I had my friend drive me to the place where I had to meet the dealer. He drove up, and told me to get in his vehicle. I handed him the money, and he handed me 11 grams. While we were making small talk, I looked at the weed through the bag. It didn't look like anything amazing, but of couse I didn't have the chance to properly inspect it.

When I get back in my friends car, I pack a bowl, and notice that I must have gotten something from a brick of weed. For instance, it had 4 pieces that were obviously broken off of the corners of a brick. The rest of the stuff he gave me was more brick, probably from the inside of it, because it was extremely sticky. The weed was amazing in apperance. Covered in trichomes with red, orange, and blonde hairs all over it. The smell was nice when I smelled it in the bag, and had a very sweet smell when smoked. Also a nice flavor.

My question is, is weed from bricks inferior quality to just buying buds like I had been buying before? Or should I continue buying from this new dealer, because I am getting more for the money, or at least it seems like. The chunks of brick that I get from this new guy are very compressed it seems like. They are very hard to break up, that's why I was wondering about the quality of brick weed, as I assumed it to be of low quality, and used as a smuggling technique.

i live in argentina, and here all u can get is brick. and if u have a grinder, a little brick can go a long way, since its all compressed and the grinder breaks it all up for you- so you get much more weed. when it comes to quality, just judge it on the high....i.e. whats better, :pimp: ?

The only thing I've heard about brick weed is that it's compressed and squished and stuff. Around here people don't really use grinders...

I've never seen brick weed with my own 2 eyes. We have Mexi. dirt weed for $50 an ounce. It's not brick, but it's as dry as Mexico. Then we have the shit up North that was grown in a corn field. Again, $50 for an ounce of it, with some corn husks in there to.

You have to think which one is better. I prefer quality over quantity any day. I remeber I bought an ounce of homegrown from buddy for $120 for a full. I had that crap for 2months before I choked it all down.

Go for the better stuff, and to you, if that's the brick, then go for it. :thumbsup:

that sounds almost what i get, its high mis but its dry packed in bricks...
i buy by the pound and split it into ounces and dry pack the ounces into bricks to keep it from molding, also its the smell a little less obvious, easier to carry, but ya just throw it in a grinder and ur good to go

You paid $65 dollars for 11 grams of brick bud?! Dude, I don't know about the bud that goes down out there, but where I live brick bud is always swag. I don't know why you would even think to compress chron or mids into bricks, it you ask me you bought some swag and should never go through that guy ever again.

dude all u do is stick an ounce in a dry sealer it isnt hard...usually people do it to bud they got in large ammounts...

When cannabis is compressed into bricks it is only a way of transporting
large amounts, this does not necessarily mean that all compressed
marijuana is low grade bud. You can only imagine someone transporting
a large amount of uncompressed marijuana in a plane, car or any other
means of getting it to its desired location. They would have to make a
few trips to get their product from here to there if it was not compressed.

Out here in BC, we ship bricks out everyday. I can assure you a large percentage of it is primo.
Even when I was living back east we would get 2p per brick in zippys of outdoor after the crops came in.

You can brick any weed up. Hell, Ive compressed the nicest hydro buds of personal for road trips.
Who gives a fuck if its squished right?
