Bass
6 string
clitoris
None of them are hard to learn. Just spend enough time with them and you'll go from shit to slightly less shit pretty fast. It takes a while to get your fingers familiar with things. Also, the strings hurt like fuck's sake on a ritz at first. You get callouses... Clitoris destroying callouses... Some chicks dig it and others say its hurts after a while... blisters at first, too. It takles a bit of time before your fingers go kinda unreceptive at the tips. The right half of my middle finger is always numb, now. That took a while to get used to.
Anyway... The begining pain of metal strings digging into your fingers is about the hardest part, imo. Good news is, that's temporary, for most people. Mine kind of hurt sometimes, but, not until about 2 or 3 hours worth of play. Bending bass is kind of a fuck, tho.

Piano/keyboards, guitar, bass (the two go hand in hand), accordion, mandolin, recorder, assorted wacky shit.
I've got some fucked up music at www.soundclick.com/alexsimko (shameless plug) and www.soundclick.com/thessshooters (whole band avant experimental type stuff)

the strings on a six string? they shouldnt hurt, unless the strings are too far away from the fret board. [theres a way to fix that]

Yes,yes another guitar player...I finally purchased one April of this year. It's pretty fun playing around with it. Most string instruments strike interest in me.
Frank Zappa makes me want to learn a bit from every instrument, uh something a bit uncommon like the French horn or bassoon or a damn xylophone...
Oh Billionfold, looking at your profile picture I think you'd make a hell of a bassist for some odd reason.

I used to play the Viola. Woohoo. Too bad I quit. I need some sort of musical release (kinda like sexual release, but with music, heh). I feel the need to play somthing somtimes, especially when high. Anyone else ever get that feeling? When it feels as if your fingers are on fire and you just wish you had a guitar or somthing in front of you? I experience that when listening to some good classic Jazz. I think it would be cool if I could play the double bass or somthing.

Thats called, Music. Music is a bunch of weird sounds coming at you in a orderly fashion.
I have been fucking around with the guitar, mandolin, fiddle, and flute, for about 40 years now, and i look forward to discovering new and weird sounds on a daily basis. The future of music depends on it.

Piano, 12 years. I currently play in a jazz quartet but I've got another band on the side that does a lot of jam band covers as well as jams of our own. We just finished doing our first studio recording and could possibly get a chance to open for someone at The Roxy (but only because the guy liked our cd and my dad has a lot of connections.) I've also been playing guitar for about 8 years and also play bass and drums. I come from somewhat of a musical family and music is #1 in my life.

I live and breathe music.
I play guitar and have been for 13 years. I have been playing a '67 Fender Start that was handed down to me for that time, but just last week I got a killer deal on a Gibson. I can't remeber the model, but it's the exact same one as Angus Young from AC/DC plays. The little, light, red one. I'm in the love with tone and I LOVE the handle of it. The neck is thinner so I can wrap my hands around that neck, and it's so light too.
I play through a Fender amp. Princeton Chorus amp. It has 2 10"'s in there and it goes loud, but sounds awesome when cranked too. Not like some where it gets all distorted and gross sounding.
I play heavy shit mostly, but I like playing Sublime, some Skynyrd, but playing Pantera just gives me wood!

i've played bass for about 3 years and i like to think i'm pretty decent. i've played guitar for like 2 years and i can play a few acoustic songs and some heavy metal songs. guitar is just something i play to learn songs for fun but i know a small bit about theory and scales and what not on the bass.
