Does anyone here use FireFox and the Stumble plug-in? For those not in the know, FireFox is a web-browser, like Internet Explorer but much nicer. Stumble is a plug-in that you can add to FireFox.
The way it works is that you sign up on their site (very basic info...e-mail address is all that is really required) and you select your interests from over 300 categories. Once done, you can click on the Stumble button in FireFox and it brings you to a random page (according to your interests). You can rate the page, add comments, etc. I've probably added about 30 new bookmarks since using Stumble. An example would be one site I found lets you design a Legos model on-line, then you can submit an order and have the model built and shipped to you! Funky stuff.
If anyone is using it, come across any interesting sites?

I love Stumble... I added it a long time ago. When I get bored all I've gotta do is click that stumble button and it brings me to something that's interesting... most of the time :D

Go to distrowatch.com. This is a free, non-commericial, opensource site that catalogs all the Linux distros and releases. Look for 'Live-CD' versions such as Knoppix, Ubuntu, Gentoo,... 'Live-CD's are basically preconfigured versions of Linux set up to run on most popular hardware. They don't install to your drive; it either runs from the CD or from memory. So you can check it out risk free and see if it's something you want to get into.
