Is probably the least recognized American Hero. All this credit has been going to Chuck Norris lately, but now I realize Benny Hinn is the greatest. Ever. He is ULTIMATE POWER like GOD. This guy kicks nothing but ass without even HAVING TOTO UCH THEM! All these whiny religiousos come on stage, complatring about some disease and BBAM he just knocks them on there fucking ass. And peolple pay him generously. And can you blame them? Its quite a spectacle. His gatherings are not simply gatherings, nor or they congtrgations. Neither can they be described as events. These are CRUSDADES. of insanity.
i want to be just like benny hinn.

Yeah. For sure. What about that black dude, Dr. Evil or something? That's not quite his name but it's close to that. Christians on TV are the best!

That's funny! When I lived/worked in Orange County (in the 80's) Paul and Jan where neighbors of a client of mine I was working for.
This was a multi million dollar neighborhood! (Thank You Jesus!)
The blue and pink hair was a bit odd as well as the ALL white house and white cars, white suits with white shoes and he had pure white hair!
Kinda freeky!
. I had talked to the Mrs. on occasion and felt she was a little "spacey" and disconnected. I found out latter they where the leaders of a large Christian following and that they where,by all accounts legit! go fig!
Now Benny Hinn is one crazy cat!
I went with some friends to see him at the Anaheim Conventions Center in 1996 and was blown away by his antics on stage
This guy was something else! The crowd was wild and people in the front rows where speaking in tongues and dancing around like they where on fire!
I've never seen anything like it before!
To tell you the truth I was a bit scared and wondering when they where going to bring out the snakes!
Weather he's for real or not, he's quit the performer!
(something along the lines of Tom Jones, without the panties being thrown on stage)
These people are all together in a very large multi billion dollar organization
that in it self should be the red flag
The "Church" that is their headquarters is in Santa Ana off the 405 freeway and is a monstrosity of indulgence and bad taste
I don't know what to make of it all
my gut feeling is it's wrong but who I'm I to judge!
Should religion be that "over the Top?"

Yeah dude i drive through Santa Ana on the 405 every couple days. I think the monstrosity in question is called "TBN (trinity broadcasting network) HQ".
I met the mrs inside, in their gift shop, many years ago when my mother would (blindly) drag my brother and I to these "christian" places and events. I may have even been at the 96 crusade you were talking about (i think thats the year i was forced to go...i was 11 at the time) at the Anaheim Convention center. mr hinn is a big fat ham. fuck him and his stupid accent. its probably fake. not that whichever region his accent represents is stupid, just the way it sounds when it comes from his mouth.
i could go off for hours on the bastards in "ministry" who are really in "business".
instead ill leave you with some videos I've found:

Those where great vids!
It's just a matter of time before the truth is exposed.
It's the little old Grandma's that send their cash in to help these bastards that kills me!

I could never watch any of those people even if I was baked out of my mind. Those religious whackos are caricatures of real human beings. Just bizarre people. And the people who actually follow them and believe in all that nonsense are even crazier. :rastasmoke::rasta::pimp::stoned: Humans are strange creatures.

As much as I detest the very notion of religion, I can't help but have respect for Benny Hinn on some level. I mean, he's the very definition of a hustler. He's making money hand over fucking fist, and I can't blame the guy for trying to get paid. If people are stupid enough to think he can cure terminal illnesses just with his touch them and therefore decide to give him all their money, it's their fault. I just don't have a lot of sympathy for people who proudly disregard "blasphemous" principles like logic and reason in favor of believing in a bunch of glorified fairy tales. Is it really that surprising that so many Christians believe Benny Hinn's crap considering what else Christians are willing to believe (Jesus walking on water, bringing people back from the dead, etc.)?
