Just wondering if anyone here like Monty Pyton? Im expecting all the Brits do, but Im not sure if it captures the American humor like it does ours.
Heres a little clip for you to watch - the battle between King George and the Black Knight. Fast Forward it to 1:55 if you want to skip the 'boring' bits. Oh, and King George is pretending to ride a horse whilst the guy behind him is clapping two coconuts together to give the sound effects :)

Terry Gilliam did a good job on fear and loathing in las vagas.
You people voted for Hubert Humphrey, and you killed Jesus.

I got into the Holy Grail but I haven't seen any of his other stuff. No offense, but I don't think I really want to, lol. The Holy Grail was okay because the time period made it funny for me. Having that kind of humor in a shop or a store or in England, no offense, isn't....isn't my cup of tea, yes. =)

Terry Gilliam's film, Brazil, from 1985, is very good. I haven't seen it in a while, and might spring for the 3 DVD box set from Criterion. It's also available in a single disc version.
Robert DeNiro is in it, and the title song is done by Geoff Muldaur - one of my favorite musical artists.

oh you better believe we know funny here too :D. Life of Brian for sure is the top python I've seen, it's smart and silly. Although, and now for something completely different has some bad ass hillarious skits. The twit race? Priceless!
FAN-TASTIC!

Alan: Well last week, we showed you how to become a gynaecologist. And this week on "How to Do It" we're going to show you how to play the flute, how to split an atom, how to construct a box girder bridge, how to irrigate the Sahara Desert and make vast new areas of land cultivatable, but first, here's Jackie to tell you all how to rid the world of all known diseases.
Jackie: Hello, Alan.
Alan: Hello, Jackie.
Jackie: Well, first of all, become a doctor and discover a marvellous cure for something, and then, when the medical profession really starts to take notice of you, you can jolly well tell them what to do and make sure they get everything right so there'll never be any diseases ever again.
Alan: Thanks, Jackie, great idea. How to play the flute.
[produces a flute]
Alan: Well here we are. You blow there and you move your fingers up and down here.
Noel: Great, great, Alan. Well, next week we'll be showing you how black and white people can live together in peace and harmony, and Alan will be over in Moscow showing us how to reconcile the Russians and the Chinese. So until next week, cheerio!
All: Bye!
And my favourite...
[Shopkeep refuses to accept that the parrot bought just a few hours ago has died]
Mr. Praline: 'E's not pinin'! 'E's passed on! This parrot is no more! He has ceased to be! 'E's expired and gone to meet 'is maker! 'E's a stiff! Bereft of life, 'e rests in peace! If you hadn't nailed 'im to the perch 'e'd be pushing up the daisies! 'Is metabolic processes are now 'istory! 'E's off the twig! 'E's kicked the bucket, 'e's shuffled off 'is mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisible! THIS IS AN EX-PARROT!

I like the Spanish Inquisition sketch. And of course Search for the Holy Grail and Life of Brian (Always look on the bright side of life). The Dead Parrot sketch is pretty funny too.

Monty Python is the best humour ever made!!
I've seen the holy grail twice, really loved it, and now they're rerunning the series here in belgium, we've got an episode every night, I rarely miss one :-D
I laughed my ass off with the deadly-joke sketch from the first episode.
Monty Phython is a GREAT program. It's like Trailer Park Boys, once you watched it you cant stop.
I was thinking the other day what would i be like if i haddnt ever found out about Trailer Park Boys and i came to the conclusion i'd be a shell, id be nothing like i am now.
Me and some mates are writing a script for an English version of Trailer Park Boys. We got a cast, a budget of £3000. I play Ricky. I mean, im like him in so many ways all i gotta do is act natural. We want to make it more of a documentry than a TV series or a copy of Trailer Park boys. Im sure it'll be put on googlevideo eventually, might even send it all into Ch4.

Are you kidding? Python set the standard for insensitive and irreverant humor... There's too many skits for me to list... Peace!
