Hey...just got back from the lowes and i was wondering about something....what is the difference between a CFL soft white and a CFL cool white light bulb???? just bought some soft white cfl.s and i am thinking that i might have messed up and got the wrong light...please tell me if this is going to make a big difference

Check out the:
1. lumens
2. temperature
There should be numbers (on the packaging) that represent both of these characteristics of light. Post your findings and let the analysis begin..

ideally...you want "cool" 5000k or higher for veg and "warm" 3000k or below for flowering...

ok...im getting about 1600 per light....6 lights...i have a digital temp gauge and it gets about 84 at highest
should i just go out and buy another 30 in lights??? and get the cool white...
