Hello,

Purge, you should try out some Northern lights. This strain has been around for quite some time and has been bread stable for quite a few generations. Just purchase from a reputable seed vendor and you will not be disapointed.

- It is a very stable strain.
- Has been bread to handle the mistakes of a beginner.
- Is very low in odor while flowering (budding).
- Has a very respectable high when dried and cured properly.
- Here is a link to a site that is trustworthy where you can purchase 10 seeds for 15.00 U.S. curency. http://www.seedsdirect.to/?page=shop/seed&product_id=216&

Peace

Both Northern Lights and White Widow are both perfect strains for beginners. They are even both recommended by Ed Rosenthal in his book Marijuana Grower's Handbook. If you don't know what "put it into flower" means. You definately need to get some cannabis cultivation books and do some studying before you start your grow. :)

Hello,

flowering the plant=budding=putting the plant into a 12/12 light cycle in order for it to finnish its natural life cycle.

Hope that this helps.

Peace

The old days of ED and JORGE and gone. NL is a great starter strain but WW certainly is not. WW is unstable and very hard to grow. Some WW do not even finish or flower properly. Read my Signature for details.

I don't know what White Widow you are talking about, but I have talked to many growers who love how easy it is to grow. I have grown it myself and find that it is a tough, hearty, potent strain. It was very stable and not even remotely difficult. It pretty much grows itself. So I definately recommend Nirvana's White Widow strain. Here is the overgrow strainguide on it. http://www.overgrow.com/strainguide/Nirvana/White_Widow/

WW from DP is unstable. You need to grow about 20 or more females to find a true WW mother. All else are just variations.

Nirvana's WW is even more unstable because it is an F2 line derived from DPs F1. You may have to grow more tnan 100 females to find a true WW mother and it MAY NEVER APPEAR AT ALL in this line.

The WW offered in Dutch shops is from the WW mother. All WW hybrids are done with that clone mother also.

I will not say it is a hard strain to grow at all but the above factors make it a pain to get the original WW.

Yeah White Widow seems more like just a name now than an actual strain. :)

You are right. It is nice to see strains get great attention in the cannabis community, but it always seems to ruin them in the end.

I have grown out WW in the past, ended up keeping a nice mom out of around 25 planted, and grew her out for a good year or so. All in all I was satisfied with it.

I still stick with my first opinion though. Go with the Northern Lights. It will treat you well.

purge with me being a first time grower myself,i opted for super skunk for my first time as it is a hardy plant and is more forgiving to the new grower which i have found,i was recommended these seeds by the chap in the sensiseed bank in amsterdam when i was there in august, have a look on www.sensiseeds.com and the strains that are best for begineers is indicated by a thumbs up logo beside the strain, have a look it may give you a few ideas, whats every1 elses opinion on superskunk, being taste, yield, growth patterns, good plant bad plant wotever,any1 grew this with info on flowering height and so on?

by the prodiagrow the book that you slate in your signature is the book i have, although i read it when i feel a problem might be arising i prefer to use info from the net as reading books (any books) in my opinion sucks goats eggs!but i reckon jorge cervantes would have many many succesful grows under his belt,so any proffesionals out there, WRITE YOUR OWN BOOK!
