Please advise a Calibration mix of available home products. Just got the unit and would like to make sure its calibated correctly..

There are no home products you could use as calibration solution. The idea of using a solution is for a point of reference. It's a very exact mixture and should be kept sterile for proper calibration.

You're talking about buffer solutions, really.
Better off to buy them than to try and say, oh hey, let's see... Hellman's brand cider vinegar always has a pH of X...
If you go with powdered buffers, use distilled water to dissolve.

There are only 2 calibration points on most meters. 4.01 and 7.0 are the only ones most units are designed to be calibrated at. It's a scientific meter and should be treated as such.
