All right I was wondering how long do you need to dry the seeds before you can germ them?
Thanks Guys!

do you mean if you got them right off a fresh plant that has some seeds in it?

Ripe seeds will already be 'dry' when they are ready to fall out of the bud.
You don't need to dry them out any more.

I let fresh beans sit in a dry dark place for a week or 2.
If you try to grow seeds straight from the plant.
The germ rate will be very disapointing.
Dry your fresh seeds everyone.
More multipul answers for you.
I hope this isn't too confusing.
With all these different answers.
I can tell you know that I am right, though.
I was told this by a breeder.
So there you go.
And I know this from experiece.

That's true, they need to rest for a while.
I give mine a month to just sit around and hang out. But I keep them in glass vials- they aren't drying any more, just resting.
I'm not trying to argue with JDog, just adding. He's right.
