1st time gowers.

im 1st time growers and my plant just came out of the seed in germination. its about 6-8in long. i just wanted to know what steps i should b doing after this.

Also i would like to know what exact type of bulb. what size n everything. any speacial things i can do to make 3 nice ass plants.

if your plant is already 6-8 inches.. you are experiencing.. or shall i say, your plant is experiencing something we call.. STRETCHING.. it is not good and needs to be addressed NOW..

YOUR plant is stretching searching for light!

you need to get a Compact Fluorescent Light.. (CFL)
Ideally a 150 watt cfl. ( they sell these at walmart for $8.44 )

And you need to put the light within 2-3 inches of your plant for the next 7-14 days. Then move the light to less than 1 inch from your plant...


Leave the light on 18+ hours a day.. If you do not have a timer.. then leave the light on for 24 hours.. and get a timer..

also the stem that came out of the seed is almost fully white and has two leaves, is this a good thing? and what can i do to make it healthier if needed

no the white stem is not GOOD..

You should get the light and some potting soil..
a 3 gallon pot would be NICE.
Get a soil that has perlite in it.. or add in 20% perlite.. to whatever soil you BUY..

so.. you need soil, perlite, water and a light..

hmm well we found some fuckin miracle grow...annnnnd got it in a foldgers plastic thing. gonna go buy that flourescent soon , annnnnnnd waterin it anything else for now.

i also got a question about this, how do u ph your water and what are the cheapest most effective ph testers and should i only use the ph'd water everytime i water??? also just how bad is using faucet water to water your plants?? thanks in advance!!

i really wanna make a dank plant and im trying to make sure i do everything right

1) Read all the posts in the faqs except the ones that seem more advanced.
2) Do not over or under water
3) Do not over or under fertilize or nuterient.
4) Use as much light as you can afford. High Intensity Discharge is by far the best, but requires more ventilation.
5) Do searches and read extensively on important words like light, temperature, humidity, ventilation, nutrients, fertilizer...
6) Repeat often and you will become a master.

It seems to me that you jumped into the game without a game plan? I know that you want to smoke your own weed for free but without the information on how to get there. You have started your seeds without any equipment to grow it properly lights, fertilizer, pots, dirt anything? Your going to have to read about growing extensively to be knowledgeable of the process then keep read to master the game. Yes, we will walk you through the steps but you'll have to do the heavy lifting can you feel me.
