has anyone ever dried their buds in a nike shoe box? the reason iam asking is that i usually dry my buds in my grow box, but i have some other seeds germing now and they will be going into the box soon. the box has 2 holes on both sides of the box for ventilation. and another question, have you ever seen those little desiccant silica gel packets that come in electronic boxs that supposed to remove the moisture? could they be put in the box as well to remove some of the moisture? ty for all inputs.

I was wondering about the Silica Gel packets too.
leaves and stems dry real fast in a shoebox, never tried with buds

I was reading on Hightimes.com on the Q&A section, that yes people have used (with some success) the silica gel packs to speed up drying. Not sure if it made too much of a difference with a large amount, but it might help keep moisture at bay at the very least.

They sell these things at Wal-mart called closest de-humidifiers, looks sorta like an air freshener. The one i have is different than the one in the link but i guess the effect is the same. These would probably be like having a bunch of silica packets.

Nike is reputed to use sweatshop labor. If you want your buds to dry with the best possible karma, you should always use a Birkenstock box.

I dried buds in a nike shoe box about 12 years ago. It worked ok but I didn't leave the silica packet in there. Don't think it would help that much anyway.
These days I just lay them gently and spaced out on a piece of cardboard in a darkened room.
