Anyone using one of these. i just bought one used off ebay and having some problems. basically the exhaust fan never turns off which causes the co2 to never co0me on. Even when i set the temp gauge way higher than the room temp, the ac still stays on. i hope i didn't buy a dud. any suggestions to try?

I had the same problem with the ppm 2 with the air 4 I had to ditch the air 4 I got rid of my intake/exhaust upgraded to a bigger ac sealed the shit out of everything and finally it works great you just have to mess with evrything to dial it in. Also does your ac have a built in thermostat or is it the old school type with the manual thermostat. If its the new type you can't have it plugged into it because most won't restart.

i've messed around with the humidity, the weird thing is that when i move the temp and humidity gauge i can hear a click when it gets to the actual room temp. so that part seems like it may be working but it wont turn off the fan when i turn the temp gauge to a higher degree,.

The relay probaly went out in it the click it the relay firing but it is not cutting the current when you hear the click that is when mine would turn on or off if you open them up it will void a warranty if one still exists do you know how old it is? if it is out of warranty then open her up and there should be a relay(would be connected to the 2 temp humity knobs) that you could replace with some parts off grainger.com I am in no way a pro at this shit but I always mess with my stuff if there is no warranty and always label the wires, if you are mechanicly inclined that is if not I would contact cap or the guy you bought it from. This is just a guess I don't want you to mess anything up you know.

also I was thinking something else make sure the co2 is not plugged into the night device plug if I remeber right they are both on the same side and the photocell activater has to be in direct light at canopy level otherwise it wont kick in I thought mine was messed up cause I had it it hung to high
