Do you personally "top" your plants so that there are 2 main cola's instead of 1?

I did once.
I'll never do it again.
I think it sucks for some strains.

I pinch to 4 main colas.

My veg area is on racks and I can't let the plants get more than 10" tall until they go to flower.

So it works for me. But I don't believe that it increases my yield.

If my setup were different, I'd be pinching to one main cola and no side shoots to save time trimming.

thanx for the replies....the reason i was asking is because since this is my first grow, i didn't want to mess with it much.....but now i'm looking at my main cola, and its one HUGE bud....and i was a little bitter about not topping it off while it was vegging, to make 2 HUGE buds.....but if you're saying it didn't really increase yeild, I dont feel so bad now. (I'm 5 weeks into flowering)
