Why are there pot-heads on plant earth?

For me, Breaking away from a day-by-day reality into an altered state makes me feel like I'm apart of something BIGGER. Almost a reborn life, Helps you understand, It has you smile. I think there is a deep REASON why we all have to ecape earth into an altered state.
At a young age, we first tasted sorrow, hate, guilt and that the world really doesnt care. When we grow most turn to that numbing agent. Wather it be that JOB, that PERSON, that THING, or that DRUG. But hey we are put on this earth for only so long why spend it in utter pain without some life ad?

Sorry for the remble, I just finished smoking some really tastey bud. Whats your thoughts on the topic, Why do we smoke?

I smoke cannabis so i can relax, I also used to drink alot so i turned to cannabis as an alternative. I dident like the pills i used to be on for depression and anxeity so marijuana also helps with the two, not to mention a good indica helps me get to sleep

Weed definately can bring people together. I smoke all the time with people I don't know at all, but it's all in good karma. Because I knwo I would love it if some random person smoked me out for free. Yeah I don't sleep much due to having 2 jobs but I manage to make it. Thanks to weed.

I smoke it in place of alcohol - plus the fact that after a lot of research, Ive found that Herb is a lot safer than alcohol. It can either be a social event or something that I smoke whenever I feel like it. Theres nothing better than sitting down with a couple of mates, watching Cheech and Chong or listening to some Bob Marley and talking about the lyrics. Then again, theres nothing better than sitting in a park on yer own on a Sunday afternoon, spliff in hand and just watching the world go by...

Social aspect- it brings people together because we all share something specail and makes me love other people
Health aspect- I get migrains and it helps me deal with them
Emotionally- it doesnt make my problems go away, it makes them not matter any more

pot-heads are people who smoke themselves retarted and well, live on weed.
but on the other hand, stoners are people who enjoy weed and smoke it often.

im in it for the paraphenalia and the times where we all just sit in a circle on the floor of my room while we chill and pass a bong around, etc.

...or because its fun and relaxing and YES i do feel like im in a huge community. like an unsaid group. smoking pot is social and it makes the world go round. you can meet a total stranger, but if he/she smokes pot, you are almost instantly connected and become friends quicker. oh, and movies about pot are the greatest.

i do it because its good for you, it takes stress off, it's good for your eyes and skin, cleans out your lungs and opens them up, slows down the death of your cells
also it makes me smarter, helps me become more creative and gives me solutions to problems in life,
