How do U break your cigars open?

How do you guys break open your cigars, like phillies or dutchmasters, for a nice blunt.

I personally try to take out as much of the thin skin on the top layer of the cigar, then look for the line on the cigar and just slowly start cracking it open, making sure it cuts in a straight line.

I use a razor blade, clean cuts everytime with a box cutter

i use my thumbnail to start the tear and then just rip it open. takes some practice but you figure it out after a few tries

Ah, I find it good to lick it before you cut it as well.

it matters what im rolling. if i am rolling a phillie, whiteowl, optimo, ect. i lick i line down the blunt and split it with my finger nail. but if i have a razor i leave it dry and make a perfect cut down. if its a dutchie i unravel it, take off the cancer paper, split the thin layer , then mummy wrap the green leaf aroun it.

My friend likes to lick the hell outta it (looks like hes giving the cigar a blowjob).
But I just like to use a knife.. dont really see the point in licking it.
I guess wet blunts are smoother and burn slower but hey, you can lick it all you want after you roll it anyway.

I have a box-cutter that I use for bong-making and the like, I just use that. Works well enough for me.

I usually just buy a blunt wrap, instead of having to cut them all open.

I just slice them down the middle with a knife or a key.
Luckily, i don't roll blunts out of cigars very much and i'd much rather use a hassle-free blunt wrap

I've used the edge of my license before. However, like others have said, I prefer blunt wraps or tubes over anything as they are more hassle-free.

shti doesnt anyone roll dutches around here? psht well if its a dutch, you have to take off the leaf first, then you can see the cigar with the line down the middle for the wrap, you can easily just tear right down the middle by just seperating the line down the middle. now all to do is empty it, screw all the ustensils

basically i lick all over the edges, then where ever else the leaf is loose at. i cut it with whatever blade is available.
