I am looking at growing 24 plants hydroponically with a flood and drain system from esoteric. If i was to grow 24 plants of northern lights, approximately how much yield could i expect off these. Just want an estimate but don't say an estimate that is unreasonable, go on a calculation that the plants are gonna grow at an average rate and yield. Also what would be the best strain for the highest yield? I've been told that per plant grown hydroponically i could expect 300 grams per plant? is this true cos i dont believe it. I have grown plants in soil and have got just under an ounce per plant. 24 plants = ??? grams.
Cheers Guys

It really depends on alot. Really the main thing is how many watts of lights. My self I have 2 rooms 5 x 8 each with 20 plants and 2000 watts of light in each I yield about 117 grams a plant average. I run 1000 ppms of co2 I might add. The strains that I run is hog, trainwreck and jeti

I am using two 400 watt hps lamps which i have been told by a reputable company is the perfect wattage for the space and amount of plants. It is a very professional and quality set-up. A hydro-pod system so they are not spread needlessly around taking up unneccessary space. 2000 watts for 20 plants seems slightly excessive, do ur plants droop as the daylight hours wear on and then pick up when the lights are off? May be stressing the plants a bit. Although 117 grams sounds pretty good man. Keep it up and cheers for the reply.

With all the CO2 he's pumping ,as long as you provide enough food, you canb run it pretty hot in there.
It speeds up growth actually.
All that Light and co2 is why his yield is fat.
At least from what I've read.
I think 1000 watts is enough for 20 plants.
Thats what I'm doing. But thats a SOG.

I get my plants pretty big I am a medical grower so there is limitations on how many I can grow but no limitations on the amount of watts that is why I do what I do but works great for me
