For those of you who miss the good old days of KZEW, more commonly known as the Zoo, there is a website where you can relive the glory days of rock and roll in the DFW metroplex.

Check out www.itsthezoo.com

What a great radio station that was, and what a great time to be a teenager!!!!

Have a great evening!

Howdy onward,

Hey man ! Thanx !

Wow..the Zoo..sure does bring back memories ! :stoned: :D I believe that they used to be at 98.1,on the FM dial, and there was another one I listened to,at 102.1 on the dial..dang it..can't quite recall what they called themselves..do ya remember ?

So how does one go about listening to their stuff ? Do I have to register and download a player or something ?

Have a good one ! :stoned: :D

Howdy Torog. Yeah, that station was called Q102. It kind of took over when the Zoo closed down. Now KZPS and the Bone are the closest things we have to that type of music.

I only found that website yesterday, so I'm not sure how to use it completely. I was trying to find the name of one of their old DJ's and found that website. There is a fairly long segment you can listen to on there where Mike Ryner from the Ticket talks about the good old days at the Zoo. It's worth a listen.

Hope you're doing better these days.
