Reconsidering growing

Well I was doing some research on marijuana busts and I knew alot of people get busted and most of the time they are big op's but I found one where a woman (in Europe some where) got busted for 5 plants that werent even mature and they gave her 12 months of something, I forgot. But it really got me thinking, what would have happened to her if those plants were flowering? What makes it worse for me is I live in America where they are even more hateful for marijuana. Reading all these articles got me really paranoid and I'm considering going outside and cutting all my 4 plants down that are doing so-so anyways because I cant get busted. I'm not the type of guy that can go to prison, it's just not me. I plan on growing 4 at a time in my house but I'm just now finding out that 4 even might not be enough for me..so what should I do? Everyone that has been growing for a year or more what have you been doing to not get busted? And if you've got busted what happened? Also how many plants do most of you guys grow at one time? Also if I get busted and tell them that my plants were for my personal use only and not for selling will my penalty be decreased? Because it's the truth, I'm not growing to sell my stuff, everything I grow I plan on smoking it all :stoned:

i think you will be ok if you 1.) don't be too greedy 2.) don't tell anyone....

the police just dont go around looking for people who grow...unless they get a tip or someone rats them out...i personally don't recommend distrubiting the stuff...just grow to keep a personal stash...i think its much safer to grow a personal staff than to go get some from a dealer....

But I planned on getting a 400w MH/HPS switchable light lol. I was gonna get 600w's but I dont think I want to, I just hope I dont get caught man. Like I said I cant go to prison lol. What is the average that 4 plants usually yield?

Yield is by strain, growing conditions, and watts.

with 400w and idealized conditions you should hit 180g/month. Your target is .5g/w/month. You have to be GOOD to hit it!

Yeah, thats what I was considering a 600w after I found out that wattage does have something to do with the yield.

2) Keep it just below the felony level.

Most states will just give you probation and a fine.
Even up to like 50 plants.

o-man, laws are different for parents who allow their kids to be anywhere near drugs, cannabis included. your parents could be up for all sorts of problems including losing their home, family and freedom. wait a few more years...15 is way too young to even be toking, imho, let alone be growing in their parents home. besides, where will you get all the money it takes to buy the equipment and supplies needed?

do a grow deep in the woods if ya must but use your head...

unfortunately it is illegal to grow cannabis. The chance of being incarcerated
is going to remain till the laws change, if they ever will in our life time still
remains to be seen.
All I can say is that your gut feeling is always right don't do it if the feeling
of paranoia overwelms you.

for many years now besides being ripped off by a grow partner but
no bust for growing yet knock on wood.

i had 2 felonies for growing and "supposedly" distribution. Im here to tell you LEO is Greedier than you street dealer!!!! I lost a truck, all kinds of personal items. A current paycheck?? WTF did that have to do with anything. I got a 4-year deferred and got the good old drug test for 3 years monthly. Im here to tell you if you own your house,vehicle or anything else thats not bolted to the floor and you get in trouble-----GOD FORBID!!!-----they will take it all here in the lower Mid-west!!! listen to this guy. indoors is much more riskier anyway imo. having lights and the smell right next to you can add to your paranoia. plus if they are outdoors and you only have 4 thats not even worth the polices time(or indoors for that matter). 4 plants is nothing to worry about even if the law states that harsh a penalty the judge almost never hands that out unless you have priors. and plus your only 15 you wont go to jail but your mom could get in trouble. think about that dont put her in jeopardy
