I had no idea there was a way to tell just from the physical description, but my friend who smokes a LOT (and is rather reputable) said that the grey, marble-looking ones are usually male seeds while the white ones are feminine.
Confirm/deny?
I had no idea, but I didn't really do any research on the subject either...

Ive heard before that there are small differences on the back where the seed would be connected to the plant. If there an indent then its a female/hermie and if not, then its a male
I had a picture showing the differences but it was old and from overgrow plus ive had to reformat since then
Id like to know as well....

This... would be like deciding a male or female from a fetus. Don't bombard me with X and Y chromosomes, I know I know. Seriously though, sex depends on the grow enviornment more than anything.

The sex of this plant is not in the DNA of the seed. It's in the RNA of the strain. You can't tell a Male from Female by just looking at the seed.
Sorry but who ever put that chart out is pulling your chain.

I read off someonewhere, a seed bank link out of canada from this site, about what goes into making plants female. Something about heat, light spectrum, ferts, and water all go into it said. Ill look for it unless someone knows what im talking about.

are you talking about the product that takes out the female chromosone so you can have a female plant, spray it, and have it produce seeds with no male?
err whats that shit called?

maybe I am lucky...BUT I only use this method when selecting seeds and I have gotten nothing but females, always. And this is all from bagseed mind you. My heat always stays in the mid 80's during day, and the 60's during night, my nutes for grow are 7-9-5, higher in P than N...which is said to supposedly make more males and less females. The light schedule isn't 100% exact either, and I have had no problems at all. If anything, it is a method for choosing the most healthy seeds.
(LOL, when I first started growing long ago, I thought all marijuana plants bud, not thinking about males because I never got them. I was underage then... I have gotten 1 male though Outdoor, this was the largest plant I ever grew.. It went for an entire season..very large.)

... the white ones are feminine.
Nope, the white ones are unripe.
The product is Sensi Soak.
You're supposed to be able to soak the seeds in it to suppress expression of male traits...
I got some just for shits and giggles. No results yet. Will keep you all posted.
