Just thought id let you guys hear my old band we split in 2003 (so no its not shameless advertising) but we had fun and sadly this was the only song we managed to record. It was done a small four track in a garage so the sound quality isnā??t great but you get the idea, itā??s also the drummer singing on the track, he hated his voice but I thought it was cool. Anyway.

I also done some solo stuff on my computer by myself after we split up, I had to use a crappie drum pattern on my fx pedal not to mention my own voice (pish) but hopefully someone will appreciate it is actually quite hard to do.

and I can't download it because I'm on a friend's laptop that's about to die, I will get to it tonight and give you feedback. Don't worry, man! Even if it ain't that good, you still took the initiative to try something new. That in itself is a good thing!

Here's some constructive criticism:

The kind of "genre" that your music reminds me of, is based on power chords and timing.

Timing being your biggest issue.

I'd sit down with a metrenome and practice using 3 different tempos and then work your way up. It doesn't sound like you practice accuracy all that much (correct me if I'm wrong).

It's incredibly important to be 100% on time ALL of the time with your music.

Remember, if you practice something sloppily - you'll remember it sloppily. I can't stress to you enough that when you learn something new, play it 100% perfect each time before even thinking of attempting to up the tempo.

You would be amazed at the difference and so would the people who listen to your music.

^^^^

Similar thoughts when I heard it. Very amateurish. I like the rift, but it wasn't well put together.
