What would you guys think of special TV documentaries on the true myths and facts of weed (maybe like on TLC or somethin, lol)? I know this may seem totally unrealistic and impossible.. but television has a good way of communicating, and I always wondered why that source was never really used to expose the truth to the mass public.
I'm looking forward to hearing some good opinions or thoughts.

I think it's a great idea! There's that sort of old illegal drugs series that airs on the History Channel periodically and includes an hour-long show about marijauana, but it's outdated and doesn't go into enough detail about both the good and bad. And it doesn't talk to users.
TLC or Discovery ought to produce such a documentary. Something like that could do a lot to change public opinion, and there's so much misinformation out there about weed.
Are you a video producer, Lethal G? Do you know anyone who is?

Well, I have some experience with video editing software as well as 3d animation and flash.. I'm far from professional though lol. As far as being a producer or knowing anyone who is, you got me there. About the closest I could come to a documentary would be a flash documentary (or 3d animated documentary, if that would actually work lol.. just imagine fictional, whimsical characters documenting this! lol).
If I were to make a flash documentary of some sort, it would be a good start. Putting it on a website like Newgrounds may gain a lot of new supporters for marijuana rescheduling.

Yeah i agree. Ch4 isnt like ITV or BBC, its fairly un biased, and i think there's been good things about cannabis on it before. If it was to be aired in UK i rekon it would probably be on ch5 or ch5.
Problems are: ... #1 problem is TV is biased and the government make them tell the bullshit as truth.

Lethal G you have my congratulations on your words there. ANY kind of initiative no matter how small or insignifant it may seem at first can make the difference, and (wonderfully) in so many ways:either stacking with other individuals' efforts or even triggering a whole new bunch of them
We need to have faith in spontaneous efforts, in the power of the mind and the power of each of us as a completely unique and significant individual person if we are to bring together the shards of voices scattered and achieve total control of our own lives.
Whatever your course of action is, in your case your documentary, stay true, stay human and it will make a difference
Best of luck Let.!!!!!

they should show the movie GRASS on the history channel. that might turn some heads. anyone seen it? it gives a history on the origins of marijuana prohibition. it even interviews people on the street.

I honestly think that The Emperor Wears No Clothes should be made into a movie. It's so enlightening and *gasp* truthful about marijuana.

bingo. the history channel has a series called "hooked: illegal drugs and how they got that way". it's a legitimate, nonbiased way of looking at drugs. the episode on marijuana should be shown in classrooms across america.
