RANT: Chicago Bud

I need to RANT about the weed in Chicago. Why is that the weed here sucks??? I dont understand I've lived here all my life and i've been smoking weed for the past 3years and when i find a dealer who has some "fire weed" its only OKAY and the prices are expenisve as fuck! im getting an 1/8th for some "Dank" for $60!!! and an 1/8th of some "mids" for $30. One GRAM is $20!!! And a why is it that I CAN NOT find a dealer with a steady inventory???? they run "dry" for like days-weeks at a time.... IT REALLY SUCKS!!! I live in the SW Burbs and have traveld all the way to Wheeling,IL to pick up some bud... local guys dont have anything great they do have good bud every once and a while but onthing GREAT. Im sorry that this is getting so long already it just pisses me off that no one knows anybody whose got really great weed. like the purple haze that i've heard and read about being in Chicago?!?.? HOW COME I'VE NEVER SEEN IT??? Where the hell do I have to go find some good bud here in chicago??? You would think that our HUGE city would have some really good bud its fucking CHICAGO!! The whole state of Illinois is a joke when it comes to weed, except maybe carbondale. Thankfully when I used to live in IL I had a good connect who regularly had blueberry and other shit which although didn't have a name, was on par or better than the blueberry. I was gettin 3.7 eighths and quads for 100 of the stuff too.

I lived in Chicago for 9 years, but unfortunately it was from years 1 through 9 of my life, so I never had a chance to sample the herb. Its CHICAGO, man. Come on, you can find any kind of bud you want, you just have to know where to look. It's INEVITABLE that there is at LEAST 100 dealers in Chicago that have chronic or at least some actual midds. I guess its all about the connections.

It sucks but, looks like you should try and find some new ones.

it depends, prices are pretty much the same wherever but quality does get better. let me break it down, south side dealers pinch and the weed sux. north weed still sux but you get what you paid for. if your lucky enough to have a contact in the suburbs the weed is the bomb but again you dont quite get what you came for, so be sure to weigh before you leave

Back when I was stationed at Great Lakes,back in the mid-70's,we use to git great weed on the strip outside the base,all of the time. We use to routinely git columbian gold and panama red,but mostly the gold. Maybe you should try around there ? Navy bases are infamous for what the sailors and Marines,bring in. The only time I got shwagg,was when I dealt with the pimps..lol. :D

Everyone is doing Ecstacy in chicago. It's just as big if not bigger than pot in some suberban highschools. I live in the northern suberbs, mundelein to be exact. The bud is pricey 60$ for a 1/8th, but I can get some dank ass shit. Tons of dro, but I rarly know the strain of my bud.

I also get the problem with dealers being dry, you just have to have back up dealers who buy from a different dude.

Come to Canada! I never have a hard time finding good smoke, and much cheaper than some prices I have seen in NY U.S.A. Just awhile back, I cazme accross some Blueberry and a Blueberry cross, by DJ Short...some of the best smoke I have come accross for only $200 for a full. From what I hear, people in and around the states would pay up to $600 for a full ounce of Blueberry. $700 for a QP of it, or it was. It's gone now, but the good shit keeps coming through.

When I was 15, I moved from California to Naperville for 2 years('86-'88), and back then all I could get was schwagg. Ironically, the acid was a lot better in Chicago though.

When I moved back to San Francisco I drove from Chicago with two friends. the first thing we did was to go out and buy a fat sack of dank. My friends bitched about the fact that it cost twice as much out here until they smoked it. Then they swore it was laced because it got us so fucked up. They ended up buying a qp and bringing back to Chicago.

springfield is worse. with all the thriving corn and beanfields around here someone should be growing their own, but that might be hard. but it is the exact situation i seriously doubt any of the "fire" weed here can compare to the good nuggets a lot of people on here get. and that part about all getting here is shwag is bullshit. i mean it isnt the best in the world but there is a difference. but good stuff around here is hard to come by and its good but not really great or what id suspect some of the people on here would call really good and youll be paying 50 an eigth no matter what.
