-A few years ago, I wrote a note to my (then) girlfriend.

Heard the funniest thing on ESPN Radio, 12:21 P.M. Friday (your day). Tony Korneiser was talking about Al Pacino and was reading his stats {(height, weight, age, etc.)}, "He is five-nine (5'9")??? (with confusion). Then Phil the Showkiller said, "No, he's 59". Tony Kornheiser said, "Oh, I was gonna say, he's not that short."

So on the sportcenter update, the announcer was giving news on the Yankees, said, "Mariano Rivera, who's three-four" {really thirty-four years-old, but sounds like three foot four inches tall [the way we americans say it]}, "

Dan Patrick was funny. I haven't listened in a long time. I haven't gambled since High School, twelve, thirteen years ago.
