AHH help. Super leaf curl

Hey guys. 2 of my 3 plants are showing strange leaf curl. The whole leaf is curling downward not just tips. Also the leafs curling seem to be just the budding leafs not the fans.


1 Ph is good.
2 Watering on schedule.
3 Been watering past few days with only water. no nutes.
4 Bottom of pots dont seem to have roots trying to bust out.
5 Plant seems to be sativa.

Plz help guys.

when ever mine curl like that it is caused by too much nitrogen my jeti always do that before the leave tips burn so cut your nutes back by 200 ppm and you'll be fine

Ill just keep watering plain ph 6.5 water.
No nutes.

see what happends i guess.

Sulpher deficiency... im not sure. ill have to look that one up.

Is there any leaf discolouration ? If there isn't I doubt its a defeciency. You already said your Ph and watering schedule is fine. My best 'guess' would be toxicity in one or more nutrients preventing uptake of another or the soil is constantly saturated preventing the roots from getting any oxygen. I could be completely wrong.

Oh yeah, if it's S deficient you should also see new growth pale and petioles purplish.

no discoloration of the leafs. And its so weird. its just the budding leafs not the fan leafs that are curling.

Sometimes I wait till the plants wilt a bit due to lack of water. then i water. so im pretty sure its not overwatering. But I will do that again this watering. wait till they are wilting slightly then water.

our plants look a bit different. ur fans are curling too and they are discolored. my fans are fine, and everything is a healthy mid-deep green. But I will not fert for another watering just in case.

hi all im not in soil but in hydroton rocks and me got same problems im still in veg {big plants} my leaf also curls downwards and around the sides of the leaves curling upwards also starting to get white specks down the middle vains not all leaves mainly the middle to lower leaves. i have root rot controling it the best i can plants look healty nice and green. i never had this prob untill i did this? iwas treating my plants for root rot with a thing called bounce back{here in perth australia} works well but i think i overdoesd my plants with it also the curling leaves has started at the tops of lower branches flushed 4 two days still healthy but still curling. my system..
3 plants
2 600watt hps
3 50liter pots {plants grow in}
100liter res{i dont use the whole 100liter}
p.h around 5.5 {using a chep dye thing and test tube}
e.c 2.4 drops to 2.0 over the week
temp 27deg
water temp 22
humidity 50 to 60 lights on
hydroton rocks {orange round rock things}
water 1hour on 2 hours off {recycling system}

also getting a lot of whiteflys{well little flying bugs that come out of my rocks} any idears on how to fix these probs would be fantastic

i had this same problem and jus put it down to high humidity/over watering. but could this same problem be caused by a lack of oxygen in the water?
