denmark bud smoking policy?

i'm going to be in copenhagen, denmark from september through december. i was wondering what was denmark's policy on smoking weed? from what i know it is illegal but there is christiana. but is smoking bud frowned upon by the danes?? what happens if i get caught with small amounts? is it cheap compared to the states?

...in general i just want to know about weed and denmark... do they go well together or will i have to wait for trips to the netherlands?

i thought christiania was getting shut down. Like a year ago they were kiking em out. I havn't really checked into it though. Fuck yeah autonomy rocks!!!!!

Christiania itself is not shut down, only "Pusher Street" were you used to have the cannabis market.
There are no problems getting good hasj and hi-grade.
Beware of coppers tho, when leaving with your stash dont leave by the main entrance.

I belive you can hold up to 5g's for personal use but it only applies to danish citizens.

Kind of expensive if you want the best hasj and weed, up to 100 danish crowns actually, but also you can get the standard-smoke pretty cheap.

Lots of the danish peeps smoke and are very liberal, but dont smoke openly (like you do in Amsterdam)
