First guess is that it's either Calcium or Boron deficiency (these deficiencies tend to start at the top)

check this link for troubleshooting

Remember - don't try to correct a deficiency by adding more of the element at first...most deficiencies are caused by an improper pH. Without correcting pH first, adding ferts will only make things worse.

good luck

Ok as you mentioned PH i checked and it was off...round about 6 is a greeny yellow i usually have it a nice yellow which has been fine, it was actually orange. how much exactly? im not reall sure i only have the solution tester kit. Anyway ive cleaned tank fresh water n nutes and ive checked the PH all set nicely now but 2 smaller Kolas look a bit dry and dead.

I reckon its just gotten lower and lower

thankyou and ill keep u informed

Ok the browning has slowed right down, if anything stopped.

However I have my plants in nft system, i have the pump running ni tandem with the lights 12/12 as roots all over into reservoir anyway, could this be adding to the problem?

also 2 kolas look pretty brown and dry, should i remove them?

That's good to hear.
I noticed a somewhat similar problem recently after a very sunny day caused my temps to spike over 100'F.
My growshop guy recommended a silica supplement tp prevent it in the future.
I'll post an update.
