How would I go about cleaning a pipe?

I used QTips to clean the mouthpiece area of my 5 inch pipe (it has a mushroom shaped thing at the front, not a typical spoon glass pipe). I cannot clean the bowl however. The alcohol bag method does not really work either.

Any suggestions?

I always soak mine in vinegar overnight and it loosens everything up. Then I wipe it with a pipe cleaner. You can put it in boiling water too, that is a quick easy way.

lets see,take a paper clip,unfold it,and scrape away.get a nice big ball,get a screen,plop the bal in there,and smoke away.i alwayz smoke my resin.i never waste ANYTHING

If you've got some worn out windshield wipers, there's a metal piece in the wipers themselves that can be quite useful in scraping resin out of your pipe. However, I do have to say that I've seen two pipes broken when scraped too often (especially where the heat is most concentrated) so be gentle.

If you're not especially worriede about smokin the rez, I would suggest holding your pipe(with a tongs, or something else) under a VERY hot(I'm taking steaming hot here) faucet. Position the pipe so that the water will flow thru the pipe. In about 30 seconds rez slime will start to drip out, after it's done dripping out, you've got a clean bowl.

is there a good chance it will crack if i put it in boiling water?..its actually a glass bong i wanna clean.
