a gram is a HUGE joint.. as matter of fact i use about .7 to a gram for Bluntz only. If ur going to weigh it, just make sure u cancel out the weight of the paper. If it weighs anything at all. Happy toking fellas. I also think that question is hard to answer, considering the fact that its pretty much prefrence based.

a blunt is anywhere from 1 gram - 1/4 ounce!

like i said i dont smoke em often so when we do, we go BIG, only on like special occasions, probably like 20 times in a year at most?

Yes, I have. I usually put up 0.7 of bud for a J. Sometimes 0.5... Depends how much green I got really. Sometimes I'll roll a gram.

I usually get about 40 joints from an ounce, so yeah, about 0.7 grams per joint for me. I don't try to roll big stogies or anything; doesn't take me or the woman much to get buzzed.

Depends what papers you use, how many papers you use, how much weed or tobacco you put in etc... but a normal joint maybe around 0.6-1gram

You would want to weigh it to know how much weed you have at all time. For conservational purposes. Anyway, I never roll joints, I only smoke from my bubbler. I don't need to weigh it because I know my bubbler holds exactly 0.3 ;)

I can rolll some skinny size jays of really fluffy chron that will get one person lit as helll and itll weigh .2 - .4 grams. Average joint like .5 - .7 grams. Ussually high mids now. Of course, thats just a small size for like 1 1/4 papers. And for an average blunt i would say 3 grams.

when you sell a joint here it's 0.5 grams, when i roll my own i usually put 1 gram in it, maybe a little more maybe a little less

i dont know why, but even before i saw this thread, last night i rolled like 4 j's for a concert tonight and i weighed them on my scale for some reason. each joint came out to .5 or .6 so if that helps then cheers to ya.

oh and we roll these things down here called "bloints" for special occations. basically its the shell of a blunt wrapped with a strip of j paper.. they burn nice and slow :rasta:

Here in Texas a blunt is sold as 3.5 grams and most of my friends refuse to smoke joints so I'm the only one that rolls them. Then again I'm the only one that doesn't buy schwag for the most part too....Nothing like 4 blunts in rotation even if it is just decent schwag though.

A gm max for a single zig zag paper.And I HATE idiots that need 2 or 3 papers to roll a joint.1 single wide smoking is just the right size to roll a perfect joint with(including filter tip)That little piece of paper means no burnt fingers or lips and no nasty roach weed left over.

Joints i roll are typically about a gram but when i roll its not just one. got a bowl on my dresser full of the fuckers and I can't smoke that much. good way to get rid of the shit though constantly tellin people take one two fuck grab a handfull if your going to roll me some more I'll even through down. convienent to give away. or sell i soppuse

There are reasons to weigh them. For example, for Bonnaroo last weekend I rolled 29 joints, and I didn't want to travel with more than an ounce, so I weighed the joints, then added some bud until I was just below an ounce in weight, just in case I got busted. At the end of Bonnaroo I gave a friend my remaining bud (the joints were all gone), so that on the return journey I had nothing at all. (Friend left the bud I gave him in a porta-potty by accident, so some lucky person found some really primo stuff. And since my friend was stoned enough to do that, I guess he didn't really need that bud anyway. Heh.)

mine are just a tad thinner than a camel non-filter but also a tad longer and weigh 0.5 gr's +/-. but i rarely roll any more preferring to preserve the stash as long as possible using my little brass hash pipe...saves a lot of bud and it can be stretched even further by careful fire practices. like always keep the flame off of the material and burn starting from the edge, never flame the center...and cap the bowl immediately after hitting. this not only saves bud but also gives those next in line a hit of fresh green instead of a layer of ash...try it and you'll see what i mean.
