2 questions about resin

Ok I know smoking resin has been discussed before but, until recently, I didn't even know you could smoke resin.

first of all, is it really worth it to smoke resin? Will it get you high?

and second, whats the best way to smoke it? sprinkle it on top of your weed when its in a bowl? or ball it up?

omg... if you scrape your peice well and ball that resin up... you will not regret smoking it... it has alot of THC in it and it will get you high as hell... i usually only smoke resin when i am drey though becasue nothing beats greens... as to the best way to smoke it... its really all opinion my favorite way if balling it up and loading a bowl of shake and the ball of resin.. you will NOT regret it... happy highs...

it's kind of gross, but when im out of bud, and even out of stems, then i scrape up and roll a ball of resin, it will do the job untill i can get ahold of some bud, although running out for me is extremely rare

here in ireland almost all you can get is resin.
i recommend rolling it with tobacco,
warm it with a lighter and crumble on top of an emptied cigarette. roll like a blunt but use rizlas.
it lasts way longer then weed and gets you just as high.
not as tasty though.:pimp:

I smoked some resin last night but it was after a bowl of Northern Lights so I'm not sure how much good it did.

Some of the resin is dry and crumbly. Is that just ash?

How much smoking out of a handheld glass pipe does it usually take to get enough resin considering I scrape as much as i can from the inside?

I would say a good amount of times of smoking out of a handheld glass pipe i am talking a lot of times to get a good amound of resin my pipe doesnt even have much and i have used it a good 20-30 times and i got a decent amount

Treat that resin ball like it's your first born...

Nothing worse than having nothing and a cleaned pipe when your dry... Don't clean the pipe spotless,one day you will regret it,believe me... Keep a good supply going at all times...

I think Kelso is talking about hash which is resin that has been condensed into a brick or a solid. The resin used in that though is taken off the outside of a cannnabis plant. The resin this thread is reffering to is the black gooey tar material that builds up on your bowl as you smoke it more.

Resin is oily and sticky... when you scrape the bowl the resin has been introduced to fire and that causes a hard non sticky substance,also ash is in the mix... when you clean the stem it is in it's most natural state,oily and sticky... scrape the bowl first then the stem,just keep sticking the sticky stuff to he harder bowl resin to form a ball...

My favorite way to smoke resin is by just taking out your slide from your bong and lighting the stem until you see smoke come from the bowl, then put the slide back ont he bong very quikly and then light the bowl again. Resin tastes like shit, but in time of need, its worth it.

If you scrape resin off of a bowl or something a rasor blade works nicely, by lightley scrapping off the res, also it helps if you put a flame on the resin for a bit and then scrape it off, it makes it easier some how.

oops, mine mistake. yeah hardly ever scraped the pipe for resin but then i'm more a joint smoker than pipe.
although i would recommend smearing the resin on a rizla and rolling a j. works like hash oil.:pimp:
