Well i just started these a week ago (the biggest one is 10 days) the others are 4 days. There are 12 plants in this cabinet, all of which are molokai frost. I also have 12 more growing outdoors but i cant take a picture because i think my neighbors are already suspicious enough. Heres the Specs

Intake 50cfm 2x computer fans 24/7
One neutral fan inside for blowing air upwards 24/7
One 100cfm exhaust fan blowing air out 24/7

box is 24"x36"x40"

4x 100w cfl
4x 75w cfl
= 10,000lumens

6" pots but grown in peatmoss pellets till i could see roots then transplanted into the pots(done it this way for years now)
30% pearlite 10% peat moss 60% organic soil
no nutes yet just a ph balanced water at 6.6 watered every other day or when soil is dry.
I did have problems with this batch in the beggining because i wasnt really paying attention(my fault) but the embryo leaves had a hard time busting out of their shell so now some of the leaves are yellow, and 2 of the plants embryo leaves just wont open for the life of them. I think its because i tried germinating them first then putting them in the peat pellets.

Also lights are on 18/6 (off during mid day hottest time) the temp ranges from 84-89* with 40-75%Rh. Im going to veg them in this box under the cfl and the space right next to it im going to flower and harvest them. Also i hope to end up with at least 8 females im expecting some hermis as this is my first grow indoors. If anyone has any tips for me it would be appreciated.

Well just incase anyone cares i changed my setup a little bit, Now I painted the interior flat white, and i changed my fans around so now i have the 100cfm as a intake fan the neutral fan is still in there but now i have 4x50cfm computer fans blowing the stale exhaust out. This brought my temps down to 84* also all my plants finally sprouted and are at least showing some leaves, the biggest one just sprouted its third node, with the others not to far behind. The big one is day 13 days old 8 of them is 1 week old and 3 are 4 days old, all from germination. When my small one grows its third node im going to start the veg nutes(5-1-1) for a week then moving to 20-20-20 1/4 strength until its time to flower under the 1000w hps. I will get some pics shortly as soon as i run to the store to get batteries for my camera.

Ya i just realized they stretched alot, but coming from outdoors i taught this was normal. But I did lower the lights on it so its pretty much touching the plants and I did put more potting soil in it to kinda help the plants from falling over.

h30..looking good....can you lower the cfls that are on the walls?? Get them close as you can..prevent from stretching..

The walls i did lower, but when i need to raise them i gotta unscrew them and rescrew them higher, does anyone have any suggestions on what i can do to make it a little easier, I am no carpenter so you gotta kinda give me a dummies guide to it.

well all the plants died today, not my fault really though. A huge rat (about 14" with the tail) was around the area so i tried shooting it with my pellet gun, but he esaped through one of my vent holes and ended panicing and broke every single plant stem. 12 plants down the drain, o well at least i can start over and do everything right, this time im going to use 4 2ft 80w tubes instead of the cfl's though.

I am definitely no expert, but what I have learned so far from my grow with fl's is that 12 plants is probably way too many to grow efficiently. It seems that most of the people who are getting amazing results with fl's or cfl's are only doing one to three plants at a time. 12 plants may be stretching it...

In my next grow I only plant to start out with 5 and go from there...:smokin:

dont switch to tubes. buy a few 42 watt CFL at home depot or lowes if you're gonna use flouros. build a home made reflector that you can raise/lower and get 4+ of those bulbs on it. works pretty well and is cheap. you have to do some super easy wiring but its worth it. The only thing flouro tubes are good for is starting out seedling to about the second or third node because the plants can touch the tubing and not burn so you can keep your seedlings really short and inspire the plants to bush out.
