Im from california. I have a few friends that have the " card ". One of my friends deals and i buy from him. Well tonight i stoped by to pick up a sack and we where just shootin the shit. I asked him, "hey man... why dont you ever go to the club to reup." And he says "why drive an hour if i can get bomb purple here". So im like ok.... "well why dont u grow your own shit", Since he has the card and all. Then he tells me this.. "well federally its still illegal to grow, so they can still take your home if they want, so its not worth it." Obviously my question is, Is this true!?.

Not knowing how 'the card' works, I can only guess that it must be true. If 'the card' is the medical marijuana card, then you are legally able to purchase marijuana under doctors' prescriptions. But to grow your own would not qualify as a doctors prescription, and would still be illegal.

Yes, even with the 'card', you are still on violation of federal law. Perhaps the locals will give you a pass...the feds want your house and car. Be safe.

they do not take anything unless they can prove illegal activities made the person able to buy such items...iow, sales must first be proven before they can take a person's property. some local courts use any drug offense committed in a vehicle as an excuse to take it so check the law in your area. the usual limit before the feds step in is 100 plants and over but they can still enforce their law on any amount...even seeds!
