Propertly packing a bowl

I was smoking with my friends today and I got the job of packing the bowl. So I razored our roaches (Had like 8 between us) and started packing the bowl. One of my friends got pissed and said I wasn't doing it right. But i've never had a problem just shoving it in there and then blazing it all. We still smoked it but I was wondering if there was some special way to do it cause for about a year now I just throw it in and blaze it.

Well as long as there isnt any seeds and stems in it and it's not just one big bud then it's fine.

if you have a grinder then breaking it up is easier and it burns better

you just have to break it up without fingering it to much

I like to break up weed before I pack bowls. I prefer to grind it or break it up with my fingers lightly. Roaches I just break up with my fingers a little. I find it burns better when it's broken up.

break your bud up so the pieces are about the size of seeds maby a bit bigger then put it in the bowl pack it a little bit(dont push it down hard just pack it a bit).

You're supposed to use your finger/finger nails to break up the bud into small pieces. Just try it and you'll be surprised how much weed you save.

If you take a small piece of bud and break it up in the bowl, it's actually bigger than when it was a full nugget. This way you can just use small amounts.
Also the burning is better. You don't burn the whole weed in just one hit but rather it keeps going and therefore you save weed.
So you save both amount, and amount of smoke left.

I dunno, while i like to break up the bowels, i tend to keep them in lumps, simply because its cool to cherry it and i find i get more when it cherries

As long as you don't put a gram nug in bowl and try and light it...

Get like 0.2-0.3, break it up with your fingers or a grinder (lazy bastard :P) and just pack it. Not too tight though because it needs oxygen so it can catch alight.

ill get my glass peice out, get out the b ufdz i intend to smoke, get out the trusty ol siccors(SP?) gring it up real good and pack a layer into the bowl and press it lightly, repeat till full.

I'd imagine everyone has their own methods. Me, I just break the herb up as much as possible and pack it. With typical commercial stuff, it's usually so compressed that I just end up loading 'balls' of weed. With some of the local primo stuff, I can just crumble it up into the bowl.

Packing bowls when your really high sucks, but sometimes i think its fun because i think about how high im gonna get everyone who smokes it lol. But yeah as long as there is no seeds and stems and the weeds broken up nice, its fine.

well first you get a coffee grinder, spin up the amount of herb you want to smoke, pack the almost powdered weed into the bong bowl, and toke as needed. guarateed way to get really high, the smaller bits of weed make for better surface area for combustion, which gives you bigger, fatter hits and overall its good for conserving your herb.

breaking up the weed with your hands causes you to lose valuable trichs.

I dont think there is any real way to pack a bowl, you just do it. Anyone who tells you that your not packing a bowl right is a ritual smoker and is very picky when it comes to smoking. Just tell that guy to chill out, because no one likes to get told they cant load a bowl, what could be easier?
