Germination

I have 4 seeds in a damp paper towel in a plastic bag wraped in a towel put under a 15 watt light. And only one seed has germinated so far its ben 4 days. When WIll the others germinate I checked the paper towel and it isnt dryed out or anything.

loose the light. Young roots can be damaged under lights. They like it dark and warm.

It hidden under a towel so there is no light to it. I have the 15 watt light so it stays warm for the seeds. Any ideas why only 1 germinated?

just give it some time...it may take up to 2 weeks

did you squeeze them between you fingers before you started to germinate to make sure they were all good seeds.

Some seeds just aren't viable. Or they get too old and take a week to germ if at all.

That is not true and you can crush a seed that way. The floating them in water to see who sinks or floats is total crap too.

spiked666killer - cover them with foil that will keep the light out. Some strains take about 2 weeks to root. Are you using Ph balanced distilled water 5.2-5.5?

Uhh just tap water. I have no clue of the Ph level. My brother did the same thing I did and all of his sprouted out. As for the seeds they are mature enough they are dark colored seeds..
