Bad Bud

I purchased some mary from a friend of mine. He told me that it was indoor hydro. The smell was great. The buds were full of red hairs. When you smoke it, the taste is mild. But here is the problem. NO HIGH. I smoked a quarter of this shit and got nothing. My question is. How the hell did this happen. All of the other time's i got the same stuff, it was killer. Great high. Now nothing. Any suggestions why?

No I've had the same problem. I bought from my usual dealer who normally sells me the best - I bought about 60grams from him. Half of the shit was just that, shit. But the other half (from the same batch, I watched him pack it) was kick ass. Guess its just one of those things.

i'd say the bud had been dekiffed by the various extraction methods. i'm currently not smoking but when i was, before i'd buy, i'd ask for a small sample, put it into my "ghetto vaporizer" (clear light bulb with threaded end opened up) and see if any vapor would come off of it. no vapors? "here, you can have it. i'll look elsewhere."
