Apparently you can lose all touch with reality on this drug. Here's something about BZ and the army.

Hahaha, it would not be the best trip of your life.

It's like acid, but way more potent, and every trip is usually almost always a bad one.

It takes you out of reality for days man.

Plus, you won't be able to get any. The people who know about it enough don't wanna do it, so it's illicit use is basically zilch.

I found an interesting little tidbit though.

BZ produces effects not just in individuals, but also in groups. Sharing of illusions and hallucinations (folie Ã* deux, folie en famille, and "mass hysteria") is exemplified by two BZ-intoxicated individuals who would take turns smoking an imaginary cigarette clearly visible to both of them but to no one else. [Clarification] When one observed subject mumbled, "Gotta cigarette?" His delirious companion held out an invisible pack, he followed with, "S'okay, don't wanna take your last one." In another test it was reported two victims of BZ played tennis with imaginary rackets.

Heh, I remember one time, some dudes at a party i was at were snorting K and one of them dared another to try and jump.

So the guy jumps and his legs just bend like they were water and he falls down some stairs.

might as well take advantage of this thread while it's alive...

The correlation of minds effect BZ could of been of particular use with ken kesey. Sounds like quite an expirience, although I don't like that statement about never being the same... sounds too volatile.
There are sooo many chems that can be used to produce euphoric/psychedelic/delerium effects.

BZ is real, was being considered as a "crowd control" weapon - to possibly replace CS/CN gas.

AFAIK it was dropped.

Anyone who wants to actually go out and do BZ needs help, imho. I'm sorry if that made me sound like a condescending ass, and believe you me I'm all for people expanding their consciousness in the ways that they deem fit for themselves. But BZ is a weapon. It isn't a psychoactive, though it may seem like one. It was developed for one purpose, and that is to drive people either temporarily or permanently insane. Basically, when the military found out that LSD wasn't all it was cracked up to be (weapon wise that is) in the late 50's and early 60's, they developed this stuff to use in combat situations where they needed to capture a guarded location without causing too much damage to the surrounding area (cities, important bases, factories etc etc).

Go educate yourselves about this stuff, but please, please, please realise that it is and always will be meant as a weapon (the military has enough to drive the entire human population insane several times over), and not a mind expanding/altering substance.

That said, I doubt anyone here could ever get any.

Mushrooms please and thank you. No more no less. Well, less for sure. I love my ganga,:rastasmoke:

I wonder what the legal status of this drug/weapon is. It definitely isn't widely available, or from what I've now read even minutely available, so would it be an illegal substance? Just curious.

Yea, it's not like acid at all.

It's more like an almost automatic bad trip, and much more extreme than acid and for a lot longer.

slipknotpsycho

so then... why would anyone willingly ingest this stuff?

^^^^
Beats the shit out of me... I'd rather eat my own vomit and/or feces. Seriously, If that was the choice.... little vomit, little poopy, maybe a pinch of sugar, tastes better than ever.

....No seriously, if you've ever had a bad trip on mushrooms or acid, and you were offered that ultimatum, you'd eat the poo.

They wouldn't. Like it has been said, it is used as a weapon.

Nah, I was just seeing who knew about it.

I would rather someone not have to go through the misery of having a four day bad trip.

Inferius

While I, on the other hand, would love to see someone (me, rather) go on a four day trip. Not on this weapon crap, but maybe an alternating dose of other things.
I'm going to be tripping a LOT in my life. People have these rediculously low standards for trips in their lives, when the common three are just as harmless as marijuana. They think that becuase they've used a microscope 30 times they're in complete all knowing balance with the mystical.
But do you really know that much from 30 times? Hell no. You're just getting used to the functioning of the microscope.

Centre = ego. Space = world. Space around ego. Now, can the ego empty itself, therefore eliminating the boundries of the space, or are we doomed to prison forever? Or merely creating new space within the center, artfully deceiving ourselves?

chriscannabis

Yea, but BZ won't expand you intelligence and open your mind to knew possibilities to existence.

You get to be Syd Barret for several days(at the least).

Someone will post it here I'm sure.
