Hi all, Ive been reading the Cannabis.com threads on activism for a couple hours tonight and spent many many nights researching the legalization of marijuana and it's all starting to click. Ive read about a bunch of people getting fucked by the system, and what we (as functioning members of society, yes, 'potheads' can be functioning members of society in case you didn't know) need to do is find some way of joining the system but the problem is that just as we are set in our ways of legalization, others are set in their ways of errr... close-mindedness:) .

I don't really know exactly what Im trying to say, because its 3:20 in the morning and I have lots of ideas that are running through my mind but I cant seem to expand on any single idea for long before another one hits me.

How long did alcohol prohibition last? The way I see it, it lasted until people that had to grow up with the problems it caused were old enough to have their own say in society. Well, I'd say we have grown up with the problems of marijuana prohibition (Government lying to us, excess and useless spending of tax-payers money, the list goes on...) and it's about damn time we get rid of these problems.

That's all for tonight, but to all of those who are frustrated with how the system is treating you, don't fight against it, you will never win. The only way we can win is by organization en masse. Have hope, the light is around the corner; don't ever let yourself be silenced, just be able to differentiate between the right and wrong times to speak out.

Absolutely correct. No reason to reinvent the wheel, however. Just join NORML, MPP and/or SAFER with your votes, letter to legislators and maybe a donation or two. They are the card carrying faces of people just like you who have been fighting this for longer than some of us have been alive.

We have the momentum going again and we need your help to push.

Peace.
