Something is wrong when uploading pics it seems, as I have run in to this problem whenever I try to upload an avatar.... It comes out like a negative.

But, if that is what I think it is (a baby bird) then awwwwww.

I always thought that until i rescued a Chimney Swift from my fireplace... I picked it up without gloves cause I had a good chance to nab it... I placed the Swift under a bush near the chimney and watched the "mother or father dunno" feed it... next day it was gone...

Iâ??m not a creatureogist or anything like that but I have been a country bumpkin most of my life. It has been my experience that you never touch the off spring of a wild animal regardless if itâ??s a bird or whatever.

I bet the little one fell out of a nest under your porch/tree or whatever is above you. I would say that Skink witnessed a remarkable thing and I would say that maybe such mothering behavior varies from species to species. We had ducks growing up and we played with the babies all day long and their mother thought nothing of it. Ours werenâ??t wild or tame; they just hung around because we hatched them and fed them. They flew off when ever the mood struck them and came back when they were hungry.

But I say if the animal is truly wild you should let it be. Iâ??ve been told like Bizzle that you should never put them back in their nest with the other birds. I donâ??t know how true it is. Hhmmmâ?¦
