Republican policies have made us WEAK militarily, diplomatically, economically, environmentally, and in homeland security.

"Our government has kept us in a perpetual state of fear - kept us in a continuous stampede of patriotic fervor - with the cry of grave national emergency. Always there has been some terrible evil at home or some monstrous foreign power that was going to gobble us up if we did not blindly rally behind it." ~ General Douglas Macarthur, 1957

Enabling act or unpatriotic act what's the difference besides the name and date? Nothing!

Actually one is an intereting story and the other is whole buncha legaleze I don't have time to read. Look, I'm not saying this is gonna happen but if the democratic party went kaput, that doesn't mean the republican party are nazis.

The anti-Americans have to imply such retardation to justify their hate and incompetence.

Sounds just like many here.

I have to say the whole calling everybody retarded is retarded. Weeeeee, I love this board.

Yet, them calling Bush/America/Republicans any vile retarded thing they want is what? OK? Is it a case where it's OK for them but bad for me or what? The reason I ask is that I see a lot more of them doing it yet not many people like me pointing out the hypocricy, which is, indeed, retarded. ;)

Oh I'm sorry patient. I'm just really stoned. How do you like my VOTE poll?

Edit: People can say what they want. They have to arrange the letters correctly if they intend to be heard.

I haven't seen your poll yet, and, franky, I'm not impressed based on your recent posts.

If people can say what they want then why were you whining about the use of "retard*?"

Do you know any retarded people? And don't call me franky!

What kind of question is that? I keep pointing them out, thread after thread. OK Corky, I won't call call you frankly. ;)

Ob-la-di ob-la-da life goes on, man....

Come on man. You and a lot of people seem to know a lot about retarded people. Let me rephrase the question. And I do want your honest answer.

Do you know anyone that has been diagnosed with a brain disorder? I'm not talking about people that disagree with you.

iamapatient

Actually, I do know people that would be considered mentally challenged. However, not everyone that disagrees with me is a figurative retard, either. My liberal friends, for example, aren't inbred conspiracy theorists, they're just wrong socially/politically. :D

Hope that helps but I have my doubts... ;)

me too. It was a Yes or No question. Thanks for answering though. Sorry no parting gifts.:D Cue game show music.

P.S. I like how only my avatar shows in this thread.

I block all avatars and I assume mine doesn't show because I never picked one. I find them superfluous and rarely as clever as their owners often think they are. (not that I'd know what anybodys is so it's nothing against any individual)

Yeah, internet death threats...Those rank right up there with homophobia, racism, anti-semitism and anti-American/Bush/Republican diatibes. ;)

"It's just a quote" and that somehow makes it it all OK. You know, there was a movie called "Soul Man" where a couple of racists keep getting telling racist jokes and they keep saying "It's just a joke, no offence." Isn't it funny how people rationalize and disguise their hate? I wonder what made me think of that movie... ;)

Indeed, I am a patient and an activist too. I helped get Prop 215 on the ballot and passed here in California, among other things.
