The cops came to my house and said they knew I was growing. Said they could smell it. I told them I don't know what your talking about. They said someone tipped them off. I said nothing. They said you got 3 minutes to show us or we will bust your wife and kid. I had no choice. They took everything I had and left and want me to roll over on someone. They are going to charge me tuesday at the courthouse. They did say paypal said I bought some hydro stuff. Then the fucker saw some of my sat tv stuff and took all of that too. Said they would burn it since I didn't give them a bad time. Istead of turning me in on that. Fuck Fuck Fuck

Hey make sure you have a lawyer before you talk to the police again no matter what they say.. you have to be stern but polite with police. I wouldnt go around destroying everything in site.. like your hard drive.. you were growing pot... they know that.. dont screw yourself over more than they are going to.. remember it will probably just be a fine but make SURE you get a lawyer..

And to anyone else out there that reads this: If the police dont have a searc h warrent it means they dont have enough evidence for reasonable cause to get one.. they are just rattling your cage.. In this scenario, most likely they will go to the next guy on the list paypal sent them of the 10 million ppl that order hydro equip and claim they smell pot growing.. otherwise they will show back up in a few hours with a warrent.. maybe even less time than that.. but by then.. your garbage grinder should have taken care of any of the evidence.. and make sure your digital camera is cleared out too.. You might lose your stash but you will live to grow another day.. dont worry about losing the hydro equip either.. just lose the bud and TRY to get rid of the smell and any kind of clippings or seeds..

But think about it first ok.. The cops show up with no warrent.. they are poking around in the dark with a stick.. they can sound VERY convincing.. say no and shut the door!! Dont even listen to their threats.. its ALL B.S.! They were never going to bust this guys wife and kids for a couple pot plants.. I know meth heads that are continuously busted that still keep their wife and kids and everything.. untill they sell it all for meth.. but whatever..

The moral of the story people.. be strong.. SHUT THE DOOR.. or never open it in the first place.. If they have a warrent, when they knock on the door they will say "WE HAVE A WARRENT" and they will make it very clear before you even open the door that they have a warrent to search.. If they dont do that.. DONT OPEN THE DOOR.. they will get tired of knocking and go away.. I have seen this work multiple times! People dont answer the door for cops in my neighborhood almost ever.. so it is very routiene for cops to stand there knocking on a door and screaming at all hours.. pisses me off.. but the smart ones never open the door.. anyone who opens the door generally goes to jail.. with all the people out there who WILL open the door.. they normally just forget about the ones who dont.. I used to do electronic discovery for the legal industry. They can pretty much get anything off of a computer but it is going to cost a fortune. I have never heard of them doing this for a small operation and wouldn't be that concerned about a computer seizure. Sucks to get caught though. I went thru the legal system many years ago, and i was told the same thing.. give us 5 people for every charge, and we'll get you probation. My attorney said, they have no authority to make agreements like that, and not to listen to them.. I did what my attorney said, and I still got 5 years probation. I did the crime, and did my time. I took no one down with me. Something tipped them off, all right.. If your grow was that big they smelled it, I would have to believe, they need to have a warrent to search your house, at a minimum, In order to search, they have to know where the booty is located..(You will find out how they figured it out, it's called disclosure, as they have to provide, why they did what they did. Your attorney will get it for you.). I am sure this and all sites like this, are watched by big brother, to some degree, as growers are a "threat" to national security. I don't know, that Ebay rolled on you, as there are many legit reasons, to have hps, or MH lights .. I have a MH light in my workshop, it's brighter than fluros.. and my eyes aren't as good as they used to be.. I was paraniod when i started my box, but i realized, that HEY.. there is no law against a hydro garden, but in many locations, it's what is grown that is illegal. These sites, have the best info for hydro gardening i have found on the Net. My wife loves her flowers, and I love my veggies.. I know what it feels like to be arrested.. and it's very scary. ive had feds look at my hard drives ...i had a program that removes all with no traces of anything ...youll need to format it to get it to work again ...or you can just get a electronic magnet and wipe the hard drive ...the question is ...did they have a warrant or did they just say they would get one?

i've been busted a couple times and the 1st thing they went after were my puters! aaron gave you good advice and same as what i would say...get a lawyer! but don't waste your time with norml and magazine ads, you need a local lawyer inside the good ol' boy network every court has! the 1st meeting is usually free so you should be able to shop your story around before settling on the one you feel most comfortable with...and quit letting these cops play you. they can't make you do anything. you are not even under arrest and if it went down as i read it you won't be. what they did was so illegal it's ridiculous! go see a lawyer today and i'll bet you'll feel a hundred times better afterwards.

Also, I did check out your state laws, and they are a decrimilization state,
go to Norml and click state laws...a map of the country comes up...you can see icons representing the state laws, then click on state for explanation of statutes.

According to Norml, most get probation for your offense, with a fine. as long as you weren't dealing to someone, or with 1/2 mile of school...maybe your state was 300'...

This is why buying hydro equipment off the internet is risky business. Better to find a local hydro store and buy everything in cash. It's not worth getting busted just to save a few dollars.
Also, have any order, such as seeds, shipped to a location other then your own. Harder to connect the pieces that way.

Sorry bro but I assume you lawyer told you the second you let them in voluntary it was over for you. They intimidated and threatened you into busting your self. That is a common trick they use to bust pot growers. They know the small growers are no threat to them and are good for the local politicians to score a few kissey points.
