100 ft wave possibility! wave wind has no affect on the board so the possibilities are endless.

hydofoils create a smother ride in rough water and also allow you to ride small waves and once you get going you dont need a wave, you can propel yourself with your own body movements! i think i rater just use a surf board but the hydofoil does look fun!:)

The hyrdrofoil is VERY cool but I imagine it'd only be any good for people in places or access to places with huge waves, not your average Joe, Wouldn't work properly without the adequate speed and enough time to start plane-ing.

Also, I've been hit by someone surfboarding while swimming and I'm lucky to still be alive, I wouldn't wanna get hit by one of those motherfuckers! seems like an option only available to the die hards, with access to empty beaches and big waves OR people who earn their money from surfing and in turn have the facilities to do so.
